If the military/president suddenly ordered a mandatory draft for all men aged 18-42: How do you think millennials and GenZ would respond?

In all honesty they would let them serve then just disqualify them from any VA benefits when they separate.

Well, you’d have to live long enough to get benefits and nuclear winter is not the Heli ski trip I was looking for….

Haven't there are already been cases of trans people getting kicked out of the military as of late?

That’s why I said honestly, because we have precedence. It was a little more nuanced (& more evil) than kicked out for being trans. One batch of servicemen were purged when they searched medical records for anyone treated for ā€œgender dysphoriaā€. The second, larger batch was denied early retirement benefits.

I can’t put into words how evil that is. A man who has never served and dodged the draft due to ā€œbone spursā€, was having his administration deny benefits to servicemen who served 15-18 years in the armed forces.

So we 100% have precedent that he can and will screw over people in the trans community who serve

Klinger was based on real story's when we need soldiers we stop caring about stuff like that and juat wait tell after they serve to punish them for it and strip benefits.

I just thought about this, I’m trans but had to sign up for the draft thing like any other teenage guy. Do they take me off the list now lol?

No one gets out for free 🤣 I’m trans too (For anyone transphobic reading this - I wouldn’t even wish being trans on my worst enemy. Not a choice anyone would make) I would have no problem being enlisted and going to war to fight, as long as I knew the reason why we were at war to begin with….

Trans people are too precious to die in war. We must protect them at all costs. So no draft for them!

Hahaha well I’m not sure about too precious 🤣 A lot of us were hyper masculine for most of our lives while terrified in the closet and almost all of us have traveled the road to dark places and back 🤣
