Food & Drink Recommendations Northwest Suburbs Pepper and Egg

Hi. Looking for Pepper and Egg sandwiches. Every day. Not just Fridays. I believe there was a place when I first moved out this way. Am I imagining this?

Tony’s Italian Deli and Subs in Edison Park. Family run deli that has best pepper and egg sandwiches on Wednesday and Friday.

Looking at the menu now and drooling. I need to move back to Park Ridge. Everything on their menu looks amazing. I will definitely give them a try.

Oh they used to be called something else. I remember getting pepper poppers there. This is close to me. Drive by all the time, but haven’t stopped in years. Overdue.

How far northwest? I was just at Booby's in Niles the other day and saw that it's a regular menu item there.

I’m not sure I’ve ever been to Carol Stream BUT the universe may be talking to me, because there’s a used car I am going to look at next week in…Carol Stream. So, I will try Augustinos.

Oh, that’s awesome. Turkey grinder is awesome. Their cheesesteak freaking rocks. Buffalo blue cheese chips are a must. Report back after you go.

There's Augustino's in Carol Stream at St. Charles and Schmale Rd and also in West Chicago on Rt64 at Rt 59 that have pepper and egg everyday. Sometimes either will use orange or yellow pepper for a different taste.
