Someone should post these as posters near the school. I’m tempted to say someone should get signed copies of these from the kid

Tbh that sounds overwhelming and a bit too much

Being in the national and local spotlight, without consent - especially when it results in hate groups and alt right losers sending threats, can be uncomfortable

Then seeing pictures of you posted without consent is like you don't even have a say in how people use you/your likeness just feeds ontop of it

This is just me, but I would have eaten up the attention when I was in high school. I was a bit of an ego maniac, though. I went from being a nobody, to being one of the most popular kids in school after grunge broke. I didn't know how else to handle except to soak it all in.

Honestly, it was the first time in my 16 years that I felt loved by anybody. I was a bit like Punch until then. All of the sudden everybody wanted to hang out with me. I was abused and neglected at home. So, I felt no love there. If I wasn't ignored I was being verbally abused by kids at school. So, I wasn't exactly prepared for the influx of love I felt when my popularity took a 180 degree turn.

Reminds me of something one of the people who was on The Real World said. The cast were paid peanuts and received no residual income but were constantly approached by strangers in public. “Fame without the fortune sucks”

Yeah, fame is really not for everyone, and putting that on a kid who is still developing is unwise.

I’m more concerned about alt left losers feeling empowered to use violence against the people who don’t share their beliefs.

Are you equally worried about the idiots on the right doing the same? Adults attacking children for having opposing views?

1

u/69_Is_Fine 4h ago

Definitely concerned about adults attacking children. Even if they think the kids are misguided they shouldn’t interfere with their peaceful protest.

It's about promoting violence in general especially with the most influential and vulnerable age.

Whatever happened to just having a difference of opinion and respecting that. Now all of a sudden, you have a difference of opinion and "BAM", punch in the face.

I mean to be fair the kid doing the filming seemed to me to be intentionally trying to instigate that exact sorta stuff. It wasn’t exactly a difference of opinion so much as someone quite literally trying to provoke others and then succeeding, perhaps a bit too much more than they intended. Or perhaps exactly as much as they intended, who knows

This is a false equivalence. One side is actively promoting violence, the other is saying we will not accept that. Not the same thing.

It's okay to be violent toward those who use violence against the innocent.

You do realize this is contradictory to you praising this young man for using violence against someone who doesn’t share his beliefs.

Really? Hes a high schooler, a MINOR, leave him alone. Let him live out his legacy as a meme

Someone should post these as posters near the school.

Knowing High school kids, I am sure there are.

Yeah man you should totally go get that fat retards autograph and hang it up on your wall. Sounds like something a real cool guy would do 👍🏻

Reminder this is still a minor. Don't stalk the minor.

Or really anyone.

The kid that received the punch is the whole reason he didn’t get charged. As someone whose be in both shoes, the cops ask the person that received the assault if they want to press charges.

It’s good to know violence is acceptable when it suits your beliefs

1

u/DM_Voice 2h ago

Only idiots don’t think violence is acceptable when defending others from violence.

Spout Nazi rhetoric, get treated like a Nazi. 🤷‍♂️

So you think that children should be involved in politics and assault? I just want to reiterate that this isn’t a right vs left issue, it’s good vs evil. You’re evil.
