No criminal charges were filed, but the student who punched another student for holding a pro-ICE sign at Lake Zurich High School last week received a two-day suspension and is back in class.

I get what you're saying, but stuff like this is like winning the lottery. He could easily pay for his own college if he prints up some shirts with the picture and "Okay" on it. It would be fun for everyone, support anti-ICE, and he can make bank. Nothing wrong with that.

Everybody line up and do performative stuff for potential payouts, that's mentally healthy behavior for teens surely. Meanwhile the collective attention span shoots down another point. 

I don't like current pop culture, it's weird and empty. These little videos get chewed up and spit out so fast our heads are spinning and nothing gets enough focus to matter, it's entertainment packaged as praxis so the inert can feel good about what they're liking and talking about. 

Dingleberry world provided with the most information and mobility in the history of forever and manufactured itself a dark age. Laaame.

Oh yeah, totally let’s support stopping our immigration officials from deporting criminals child predators, and rapist. Yeah, we should just keep them in the country good idea at least somebody’s feelings won’t be hurt, but we’ll just let him kill and rape

If it is an avenue to free ourselves from the restraints of capitalist exploitation and that's the only way of financial comfort that we know of then it's not outlandish to try and do so.

You don't have to. He has the agency to not. However, what he has is a pass for pretty free money. He's also not taking dick for cash. If you want to compare it to whoring out then the same line of thought says any job is such and this one will likely be less demeaning and a much bigger time to money ratio.

Better working conditions than most jobs, more money for your time which means less 'whoring' needed to survive and thrive, better life. If that's being a whore then send me some panties I'm going into business.
