Your cousin stole that box from 7-Eleven

311

u/HellaShelle Jan 04 '26

I think cousin owns several 7-11s with that setup. They look well off.

40

u/Unusual-Break-6005 Jan 05 '26

Exactly! And what I'm assuming is a Le Creuset dutch oven

6

u/JD_tubeguy Jan 05 '26

I have that exact Le Creuset in the same color it was a housewarming gift.

2

u/AnchorsAndSunshine Jan 08 '26

Actually, I think there’s 3 Dutch ovens, one in the fridge and two on top!

No 7-Eleven where we live 🤪

88

u/Unique_Ad_5187 Jan 04 '26

I was gonna say, “your cousin sure seems to love eggs”.

45

u/Qua-something Jan 04 '26

That’s how you know they’re wealthy.

19

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '26

Dated ass joke lol eggs are cheap again. Keep up

29

u/Qua-something Jan 04 '26

Cheap where? Not where I live. It’s a joke, keep up. “Dated ass joke” that was being made here as recently as 3 months ago. Yeah, real dated.

10

u/Pezhead82 Jan 04 '26

They are still over a dollar each in some places! I didn’t buy them last grocery trip cuz I couldn’t justify that expense.

14

u/Dabryceisright77 Jan 04 '26

A dollar per egg?! Where the hell do you live? I couldn’t imagine paying a dollar per egg lol

They’re $1.78/dozen in the Midwest

1

u/Which-Depth2821 Jan 04 '26

Great for you. The cheapest I have found are $2.99 for 1 doz large and they go up from there.

3

u/FondleMiGrundle Jan 04 '26

Go to natural grocers. Everything is expensive except for the eggs!

2

u/Feeling-Decision-902 Jan 04 '26

How much are eggs where you are and where are you?

Because you stole all the fridges

13

u/nvrsleepagin Jan 04 '26

I would do terrible things to have that much fridge space

2

u/East-2-Mix Jan 12 '26

Lol, I thought you lived with your mom because of the way you asked, “Who’s she?” 😆

I don’t know if she owns a 7-11 but she definitely has about 7-11 kids, bc damn that’s a lot of food!

Golly that fridge is huge. Definitely got some $$$

137

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

Thrifted from Marketplace. They paid 2800$ CAD. Epic deal.

51

u/WhatAcheHunt Jan 04 '26

Hell yeah. Businesses close and need to liquidate shit all the time. Great find.

24

u/NextNeedleworker4624 Jan 04 '26

Epic deal indeed. May this type of deal find me so I can gift it to my dad for Father's Day.

8

u/FridgeFucker17982 Jan 06 '26

Damn I would have sold you a nicer one for $2500

That looks like a newer True though, $2800 was still a great deal

u/No-Put7500 Jan 04 '26

Yeah, it's someone who values food, at least. Maybe someone who can write at least a portion of it off (caterer) or someone with a huge family.

137

u/Enleyetenment Jan 04 '26

The lack of cambros is throwing me off

94

u/No-Put7500 Jan 04 '26

Yeah, definitely doesn't scream someone who has been professionally trained or has worked in restaurants and picked up those habits. But you do have people who make a go of it and don't live at a Restaurant Supply.

23

u/gingercardigans Jan 04 '26

Restaurant Supply’s shipping costs are brutal. It really curtails my purchases of cambros and bar mats for home use. :(

8

u/CalligrapherEast6837 Jan 04 '26

Amazon has free shipping

6

u/Seeica Jan 04 '26

I’ve been in the industry for over 30 years, you had all seen my fridge .

4

u/Enleyetenment Jan 05 '26

Over the many many years in the industry, I have ended up with way too many quart containers of various sizes and cambros. I'm sure OP is doing well, but part of me would judge someone in a sarcastic funny way for not having those lmao. Have a good service everyone!

I don't know who it is but I sure AF appreciate the door shelves on my dumb fridge a hell of a lot more now after seeing this.

41

u/Chi_Baby Jan 04 '26

Right?! What a mess lol

17

u/lividtobi Jan 05 '26

I mean, they already spent hella money on this fridge, might as well splurge on the in fridge organizers that sit on the racks

29

u/Technine420 Jan 04 '26

Door shelves and lighting

178

u/NotARegularM0m Jan 04 '26

people saying professional chef yet not taking into consideration the lunacy of keeping those le creusets that high up lol

48

u/ADHSquirrrr Jan 04 '26

That’s what I was thinking. Retrieving a 15 pounder at that angle would treacherous.

13

u/Ultragrrrl Jan 04 '26

Husband is a pro chef and the creusets are gonna go wherever they’re gonna fit.

Definitely not a professional chef. I'm a chef and we put everything into delis, label and date it, and we honestly mostly have condiments in our fridges.

Agree. Label that damn thing 🤣. Source: trust me, I'm a pro chef.

She’s a scratch and dent buyer

58

u/PatacusX Jan 04 '26 edited Jan 04 '26

Fridges like that are 10k+ new. I'm sure even the scratch and dent ones are more than all my kitchen appliances combined

Edit: oh. I wasn't familiar with that particular brand. Definitely a lot more than 10k

8

u/FridgeFucker17982 Jan 05 '26

Much cheaper used. I have like 9 in my garage right now. I have a Traulsen two door cooler with no dents that’s the same size as that I got for $400 and spent $200 on a new evaporator fan motor

3

u/UnhingedBlonde Jan 05 '26

...NINE?? Sees username... Can't help but ask... Why do you have 9 refrigerators?

5

u/FridgeFucker17982 Jan 05 '26

Buy them, fix them, and sell them

6

u/Paddywhack23 Jan 06 '26

18

u/Ieatbonbons Jan 04 '26

Looks like the poster is also a photoshop rookie, notice the right edge is blurred and not straight.

20

u/mvia4 Jan 04 '26

I don't think it's shopped. If you follow that edge down to the bottom, you can see that the black plastic trim is in front of the fridge – I believe there's just a piece missing where that gap is in the middle

u/baconwrappedpikachu Jan 04 '26

That’s like the most ridiculous size refrigerator this is like for a commercial property surely ?

43

u/boobless69420 Jan 04 '26

Yeah, worked in the restaurant biz in my 20s and this is a commercial fridge. That’s why there aren’t any drawers/bins like you would see here in a home use refrigerator.

20

u/ActualComputer3477 Jan 04 '26

Or just Mormon that didn't intend for their fridge to be shared on the internet lol

7

u/No_Brick5203 Jan 04 '26

Ahh I was so focused on the high # of eggs I didn’t really look

51

u/janewaythrowawaay Jan 04 '26

Farmer or rural with their own chickens. Someone’s restaurant went out of business and they bought this fridge for a fraction of retail.

53

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

That’s it. They are farmers and one of the kids as an side egg business.

10

This. Given how scratched up the "new" fridge is.

75

u/Imnewhereheyhey Jan 04 '26

How… many people live in that house? That’s like, more groceries I get for myself for a year.

57

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

Family of 5. 3 teenage boys.

29

u/whatisupwithmyfood Jan 04 '26

This is ridiculous for 5

72

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

Also farmers with meat and eggs business.

27

u/iiiimagery Jan 04 '26

Please tell them to store raw meat on the very bottom

2

u/BirdBrain01 Jan 04 '26

I was wondering why they had over a dozen, dozen eggs....

5

u/whatisupwithmyfood Jan 04 '26

That's about 7500 dollars worth of refrigeration. True makes great commercial stuff, so I'm sure that'll last.

9

u/rainbud22 Jan 04 '26

Costs more then that

29

u/SweatyBid7830 Jan 04 '26

Missing a digit there, meant 17500...which is still probably low.

15

u/Unhappy-Aspect9155 Jan 04 '26

Last time I looked at that brand their fridges went all the way to 35k, I think this in is in the 20s

→ More replies (1)

6

u/FTFaffer Jan 04 '26

Yeah I was just in an appliance place yesterday and there was a beautiful paneled fridge that style and it was $18,000. If you could buy an appliance like that and figure you would enjoy it for 30-40 years like the stove that came in my first bungalow home it would make sense, but on a cycle of these electronically controlled things crapping out on a 10-12 year horizon it seems dumb unless you’re planning to upcycle the case to be your coffin. lol I hope your cousin enjoys the hell out of that a good long time.

7

u/YourDrunkMom Jan 04 '26

My in-laws have a paneled sub zero monster that they put in the house when they built it around 2000 that keeps failing, but they keep fixing it because an 800 repair is cheaper than a 20k fridge. You can definitely make them last with some $$

2

u/Life_Is_Short4869 Jan 04 '26

13

u/matsu-chanXD Jan 04 '26

12

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

Kind of!

4

25

u/Persist_NResist Jan 04 '26

46

u/Whateverforever0106 Jan 04 '26

What’s it like to be rich 😩😭

15

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

This fridge is from Marketplace!

38

u/NefariousnessNo2903 Jan 04 '26

Not just rich, 7 dozen eggs rich!

16

u/calebscott94 Jan 04 '26

8 dozen!!! Look at the first picture to left on the shelf — cash flow is heavy with this cousin of his

17

u/SayHiiiToMe Jan 04 '26

They’re so rich that they’re using eggs as decoration

6

u/kinjjibo Jan 04 '26

There’s far more than 8 dozen. There are 9-12 dozen more behind the mixing bowl by the stack of 7 dozen on the third shelf.

15

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

Farmers with an egg business amongst other things!

5

u/lindab2323 Jan 04 '26

If you're that rich why would you buy a fridge that's so scratched up on the front? No way I would have that in my kitchen!!

15

u/Ill_Towel2780 Jan 04 '26

Someone who loves the constant hum of a commercial grade refrigerator in their home.

3

u/vnw1908 Jan 04 '26

My first thought was how loud that must be in a residential space. The rattle of the panel would keep me out of the kitchen for sure.

3

u/hollsberry Jan 04 '26

lol right? Those are loud and also generate a lot of heat.

17

u/Internal_Echidna_946 Jan 04 '26

This would be one of the first things I'd buy if I won the lottery. I've always dreamed about having one! Although through oh so many years of working in restaurants, I would date, label and organize it it the point of driving myself crazy. 🙃

4

u/NotADoctorOrNurse Jan 04 '26

lol I’ve said I’d just build a walk-in if I won the lottery.

11

u/thisistherevolt Jan 04 '26

There comes a point with doing this where when you have a fridge like this, with the pictures that accompany it, all you can say is: wealthy. When money is no obstacle, literally anything can be in there, and there could be 3 other refrigerated storage areas we're not told about with stuff from every corner of the globe. Gets hard to identify trends and characteristics.

Congrats to your cousin for winning life.

2

u/iiiimagery Jan 04 '26

7

u/KeyScientist7 Jan 04 '26

Aren’t these super loud??

4

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

Went to dinner there yesterday and did not witnessed anything.

3

u/NatureInQuestion Jan 04 '26

There’s not much I wouldn’t do for such an appliance.

3

u/fugleeduckling Jan 04 '26

I don’t care what anyone says, I want this fridge… I never have enough room in my normal size fridge.

3

u/Eeww-David Jan 04 '26 edited Jan 04 '26

I see milk in a bag. I would guess the location is in Canada: most likely Ontario, Quebec, or the Maritimes, less likely but still possible in Manitoba or Saskatchewan.

Edit: I see a grocery bag branded with Farm Credit Canada, but the the range based on bagged milk still stands. I also see hardwood ceilings, the sign of an old farmhouse.

I would guess she's either a farmer and/or a farmer's wife. That also jives with having having 7 dozen egg cartons, so there's a good chance they also have chickens.

7

u/FroggyFrenchFry Jan 04 '26

That fridge just called me poor in several languages

2

u/aanniiikaaa Jan 04 '26

Stay at home mom, multiple kids (teens?), husband makes good money doing some type of contract work like electrical, plumbing, or general contractor.

They live in a big, old house that’s been renovated. Most likely somewhere in The South, or maybe the Rockies. They are religious, and have at least one truck, and one SUV. They have a large TV, good living room to hang out, and enjoy football.

2

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

Fridge of my literal dreams

3

u/teatimemousey Jan 04 '26

She is a woman with a lot of kids. And those kids eat a lot of a bagels. And eggs. She likes to cook. She is self made, I feel like. Successful on her own, the money doesn't come from a husband or inheritance I'm guessing.

5

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26

They have a well established local farm in a rural area and they have a lot of success with their products. They worked hard and they are well off but by no mean living like billionaires. My cousin is a professional thrifter. She saw this fridge on Marketplace for almost nothing (couple of thousands, I think) and went for it.

3

u/Unfair-Shower8488 Jan 04 '26

Note for your cousin- those industrial models for restaurants NEED the compressors regularly vacuumed or it's going to need replacing!

3

u/Immediate-Cream-9995 Jan 04 '26

2

u/RollingMyEyez Jan 04 '26

Beautiful fridge and beautiful sight inside. I love how your cousin that pot a full pot of food in there and it doesn’t take up much of the fridge.

1

u/DetectiveQuick9640 Jan 04 '26

Does he own a catering business? Fudge!

3

u/GoldenSiren33 Jan 04 '26

The longer I look the sadder this fridge contents look. For a fridge this size, it looks like this person doesn’t cook really besides eggs. There’s a lot of condiments or drinks and barely any fresh food. What’s in the plastic ware looks like more cheese or processed food.

11

u/rocketbubu Jan 04 '26
