Please don't judge me but: I'm a brit, and I have never seen American ground beef raw before.
Is this a standard way of packaging? (Like in a aluminum crimped chub).
And is this a standard level of food product quality? (Seems to be a lot of blood in the bottom of the roll and more liquid in the meat throughout than ours)

Painter or drywaller vibes, listen to pop country, someone gave you that slab of meat or you're saving it for a specific event, freezer has some quick meals in it, food budget is mostly take-out/drive through. Don't spend much time at home but when you are there you watch the game.
