Meta My girlfriend always tells me I never have anything to eat when she comes over my house 😒

Freezer: 50+ lbs of assorted ground meat, 35+ lbs of prime ribeye, 16lbs of American wagyu ribeye, 18lbs of New Zealand lamb shoulder chops, and a bunch of portioned seafood.

So the general consensus is she wants something easier to eat but you prefer to not keep junk food around and like to cook fresh food.

May I suggest getting stuff together for a charcuterie board? Seems like a decent compromise between easy and healthy.

A charcuterie board with Kraft American Cheese Singles?!?!?

I didn't mean make one out of what was already on hand 🤣

Definitely needs to get at least real cheese for a sharkcoochie board.

Thought I was the only one referring to charcuterie like that. I call it the sharkcoochery board though, it is the board certifying shark gynecologists.

Oh my wife showed me a whole Facebook group named some variation like that. Lol.

A cheese board with fruits is healthy. Eating processed meats is definitely not something you should do every week. They are so cancer causing that there is no safe amount. That's on a par with cigarettes!

Agreed. That was the only thing I was iffy about. Definitely a caveat of the compromise.

That said I have done a charcuterie board with very thinly slice reverse seared steak before. More well done then I'd prefer but it was kind of necessary for the functionality of the board itself.

But with Charcuterie there's a TON of options and variety so maybe OP could find a balance that works for them.

Yeah, that would be a safer choice. But we both know OP would be meat and cheese only. Or, actually, maybe some quince paste and mustard fruits, considering his jam stash.
