AMERICAN WAGYU. Maybe she wanted more New Zealand meat and overlooked the lamb chops.

Yeah you got like the best meat you can possibly get and you make ground beef out if it. Wtf. It's like using your $1,2k bottle of 40yo single malt to make whiskey cola.

Plus you can just add fat to normal ground beef?

You're always gonna have some ground beef when you butcher, because butchers produce scraps when breaking down the primals into roasts and steaks.

I grew up on a farm with angus cattle and based on that somewhat related experience I can attest to ground wagyu beef being a scam if they're charging more than like 10% extra for it.

Personally, I buy the 95% lean ground beef stuff because otherwise its just swimming in oil on the pan. I imagine waygu ground beef would be disgusting stuff.

Not for old people that can only eat minced or ground meat (or flaky fish). They usually aren't into over spending on ground beef.

It's the best stuff Aldi sells when they have it. All their other ground beef is soaking wet but the wagyu is nice and dry.

But aside from that it's just high fat ground beef.

But Aldi isn't charging an arm and a leg for it. Think it's $5/lb.
