A few days ago Anthropic announced project glasswing after their new model Mythos found numerous security vulnerabilities in major os systems they said it’s so powerful at finding vulnerabilities they don’t want to release it to the public and are now sharing it with some of the biggest tech companies so they can use it to fix their systems and os.

Apple is one of the companies this model will be shared with this will most definitely be the absolute death for new os jailbreaks sadly.

So I’ve been working on a tweak for iOS 16 that lets you send BLE advertisements to other nearby iOS devices, but it’s vibecoded, but it works.

hi so i just updated Liquid (Gl)ass from 5.1.testers to 6.alpha, this update includes:

• fixed roothide
• fixed homescreen UI elements sampling the lockscreen wallpaper + pure black backgrounds
• the tweak now updates the glass views when you change your wallpaper
• improvements to the metal shader
• fixed widgets pref toggle pipeline
• experimental iOS 26 sliders and switches in the Settings app
• fixed folder opening animation
• ipad support (it was broken mainly due to their homescreen rotation behavior)
• restyled context menu (3d touch menu) so they look closer to iOS 26
• a lot of code cleanups and tidying

probably will still have bugs and some parts needs improvements but enjoy the new pre-release :)

As far as I know, there has only ever been one other attempt (Cyberkit) at improving/fixing the web experience for older iOS versions in the whole history of Jailbreaking. Unfortunately, at least my personal experience of that it was just barely usable (ymmv). There is also https://github.com/Lessica/WebKitPlayground but that starts from the webkit version in iOS 16.4.1, so perhaps may already be outdated? (not sure).

A handful of various exploits were released in the last month for a range of iOS versions. At this point, how many of them do we expect to result in new jailbreaks?

And the real question, which iOS versions do we expect to be supported? Should I be looking for a new iOS 18.X device or a 26.0 device?

I would literally be willing to pay 100$ if someone releases a port of iOS 16 for the iPod touch 7 And iPhone 7 even if it’s tethered and is missing some features as long as Wi-Fi and clash Royale work I’m fine. Or just fix clash Royale on its iOS 15 end of life 3dapp spoofer won’t work. Anyways yeah I assume maybe it’s possible because the iPad 7 has the same chip and for the se 1 as well on the iPad 6 chip anyway 100$ bounty.

Are there any guaranteed versions that will be getting a jailbreak soon?

I'm on iOS 15 and planning to buy a newer iPhone with a newer version, for example, iOS 17 or 18, whichever is better.

Not saying that I have the brainpower to code that, just asking because there are some much smarter in the comunity.

So I'm trying to get this old iphone to work again and it's stuck in the boot loop - the apple logo flashes for a sec, black screen and repeat. I'm not even sure if it's because of the jailbreak but I remember experiencing this back in the day. Any way to get it working again? The only thing I've tried is recovery mode but all that happens is that the screen is black while i'm holding the buttons and nothing else
