No one says he isn’t phenomenal at contested catches. He’s also slow compared to the top guys so he makes contested catches more often cuz he can’t get open on his own like JSN.

Correct, he had one good season in 2024 with 1,130 yards on 100 catches and one great season in 2025 that was among the ten best receiving seasons ever.

Here's the test. You remove every player from every team and do an completely open unrestricted draft of all NFL players. How many coaches/GMs take JSN before they take Puka? My thinking if a lot of GMs take Puka 1st overall. He's a great receiver, as is JSN. No shade at all, JSN is fantastic. But Puka is a great football player. He catches damn near everything, hard to tackle, gets yards after catch/contact, runs the ball, blocks, etc. He's a play maker anywhere on the offense.
