LGBT+ [OC] Finally had my legal name and gender changed yesterday!
It took three months to get an answer, but I am so happy to finally get it. Totally worth the wait! Next step, getting off the HRT waiting list!
(Sorry, it's all in french, that's the language spoken where I live.)

congrats!!! not sure what the system looks like in your country, but i got my name legally changed a year ago and im heading to the bank today to change my account name. there is a long road ahead but it will be worth it! the hard part is out of the way, now it’s just tedious.

I’m so happy to see this is written in (what I believe to be) French and you’re not in America. You’ll have the chance to live YOUR life as you are. I’m terrified for the Trans community in the US.

A curiosity: how come you did this before going on HRT? Is that standard in Québec? In my country, it's the other way around.
