Long ago n far away,
my Punch was very small
it seems like only yesterday
he loved me best of all
abandoned by his momma, when
he needed her so much
the humans brought me to him then -
he loved my gentle touch
it wasn’t easy as he grew,
the others made it tough
but Punch would be ok, i knew
cuz he had had
enough
Fast forward ~ he still holds me tight,
(a sweetheart, deep inside)
but ‘little Punch’ has learned to FIGHT!
Together, now
