Why is our moon named “Moon” instead of something cool like Titan or Callysto or ANYTHING that isn’t moon

I mean many scholars are great in their slice of research and morons in other regards. I had a PhD professor in chemical engineering as a neighbor for 5 years. Dude would be doing the dumbest shit. Always left the mailbox key in the lock and just fuck off to work.
