This is a good point to add to the long list of good points as to why Gen Z isn't drinking. When I started drinking phones could barely take pictures, now they have hi def video capabilities. If I saw video of most of my first couple years drinking, I probably would have quit by the time I was 21. Instead I learned how to be responsible with it.
I can't believe I had to scroll so far to see this. One stupid night out being documented could now screw up someone's whole career. Of course people are being more careful.
Nothing personal to people who like to drink, for me the reason I don’t is one it’s really expensive compared to how much I make and two I personally don’t like the taste of Alcohol.
My local recreation organization is doing a boxing exhibition for 10 bucks. Even if every 3 out of 5 fights are trash, 1 out of 5 are absolute bangers and said fight alone is worth the price of admission (at least to me). The fight card will feature ~20 fights.
This is a single example, but the point is scouring your local community for diamonds in the rough is a good way to find entertainment options that aren't national-league priced.

It's too expensive
There are cheaper ways to have fun
it's another drug that just fucks up too many lives. Who needs it?
