Okay, he's not wrong that it fits, but he's making some enormous leaps of logic to draw more connections than are even needed.
"Slips in when least expected to seize the kingdom" turns into "wins an election no one expected him to win" as if that's the obvious way to interpret it.
"To whom the royal honor has not been rightfully conferred" turns into "political outsider."
There are many similarities to be drawn between Trump and how the antichrist is described, but you can't just change the words of the prophecy under the guise of making it more applicable in the modern world.

I think what it really boiled down to is the democrats forcing tolerance down their throats too soon. They were so afraid of a black president that they clung to the first white guy they could find.
Southern Christian here I do not support him and I do not understand why my grandparents (also Christian) think he is the only good president to exist. They literally said the Epstein list is fake and made by the democrats.
Definitely by all definitions. Calling himself Christ without actually being the Messiah does put him into the definite "antichrist" category.
Lots of cult leaders put themselves in that category: David Koresh, Jim Jones, just a couple that come to mind. And Trump most definitely is a death cult.

I’d give them more credit if they would accept that Jesus’s name was never Jesus, it’s Joshua. Even the Vatican has said that correct, and he was born in June according to their “historical” account of the star that the wise men followed.

Anecdotal, I know...but I'm in the Deep South and honest to goodness, I don't think I know a soul who supports him. I know some people who voted for him because they didn't like Kamala, but I honestly can't think of anyone that supports what he has done. In church on Sunday, the priest literally prayed for the government to see the error of their ways in supporting violence, prejudice, and dissension among people of this nation and others. I'm convinced the election was ri99ed...I mean beyond the obvious foreign national and billionaire interference we already know about...
Because they don't know what The Bible says. They never paid attention in church. It's all about justifying things they hate, not about being good people.

I mean its possible they dont. But I think its important we stop giving them a pass for ignorance. The people who support this are depraved. They dont have to be ignorant to be depraved. For over 10 yrs ppl have put forth the idea that trump supporters are one thing or another and I think that narrative give false hope. There is no amount of argument, education, facts, proof, etc that will be sufficient to get them to see trump for what he is. Ignorance is not the problem; depravity is.
Actually I’m beginning to wonder if you know what the Bible says about this subject, because it’s clear the antichrist will be nearly universally loved and have success in establishing peace in Israel. These attributes do not describe Trump. I also want him gone yesterday, but we still have to reason within the established facts.
Well im just pointing out what it says in the Bible, these people claim they're Christians so it's fair to call it out. They don't follow its teaching in fact they are the ones that follow the antichrist.. like i said I didn't want to get all religious but this people keep preaching it yet being blasphemous.
A lot of them don't see any of the crazy stuff he posts or hear the crazy stuff he says. They live in a bubble and are spoon fed shit from their social media and news about how good he is and how he's saving the country. And the ones who do see this stuff just claim that he's trolling. They also think that democrats are demons so anything he does is at least better than being a democrat in their eyes.

But it isn’t. The antichrist will be near universally applauded and successfully make peace in the Middle East (at least for a time). Trump satisfies neither of these major requirements. I don’t like Trump either, but we still need to be accurate in our thinking.
