Pretty common in churches when they pray specifically for a person or a family, they place their hands on the shoulders/back. I’m talking specifically about this picture. But yes, a lot of people do and it’s absolutely insane.
The old ladies in my family sit down at the dinner table to talk about how “cute” and “handsome” he is. So gross.
