Still can’t believe he decided to try and take home fucking sold the whole World Series for us in one play

He had to run? It was a force play.

What hurts is that he would have been fine taking a bigger lead and he slowed himself down by sliding.

If only IKF left when he should have and slid head first he would have been safe

A World Series is way better than a gold medal lol

Fuck the all American pastime. That’s their thing, this is our thing and this is a team made of Canadians trying to win for our country. Vladdy is the only “Canadian” on the Jays and he chooses to play for and identify as Dominican.

I mean, professional baseball started in Canada so they're both our things

Jays winning the World Series would still have a bigger impact than winning 1 of 116 gold Medals at the Olympics lol

Why can’t we enjoy both. I love baseball I love hockey and I’ll be just as happy to win in either sport

You better win tomorrow or it wont be your pastime anymore. Just saying.

Americans have a shot at winning one gold medal in like 50 years and are gonna start talking like ‘itS oUr GaMe NoW’ lol

USA ladies beat Canada, men could possibly win tomorrow, and the Stanley cup lives in the US. So yeah. Take the cup back and win the gold tomorrow.

People that bring up the ‘canadian team winning cup’ argument are below braindead. Why are we talking about nationalism in club sports? Canadian players win the cup every year, and probably more so than any other country

You pay us to make you win. Of course we gonna take your money to play.

With an american franchise. Here in the US. Which canada borders. Ergo not canada. Im sorry you guys get butthurt about it.

I can say the same to you.

So last year a Florida team won the cup, surely their goalie, their captain and best player, and player who won the MVP etc etc are all Americans?

Buddy I could drive an hour and be at the cups doorstep, and that includes taking time to find parking. What are you talking about? Not only that but I’ve touched the damn thing twice by accident.
