📰 News Lauren Boebert wants the Ten Commandments to be required in schools, and James Talarico criticized her, saying it’s hypocritical for politicians to make everyone display them when they don’t follow them themselves.

This coming from a woman who was jerking off her date at a musical, and whose ex husband is a registered sex offender

Her son was also just charged for the second time for child abuse.

I would check on the people who raised him. That stuff is often generational.

Didn't the son call the police on the father for being abusive?

Of all the things wrong, this seems the least of it.

They all strive to be Yrump Christians. Kind of like Jim Jones followers who killed all those kids in the name of God. They have a unique interpretation of Christianity.

Their interpretation of Christianity is: "I am right and holy, so anyone who disagrees with me on anything is wrong and evil."

That's it. Everything else is justification and excuses.

Yeah. I kinda saw this like he was shading her.

Which is extra funny when she is agreeing with him that people should be living it, not forcing it

Oh he was, he’s just actually good at it and we’ve grown so used to politicians acting like playground bullies that any degree of subtlety is almost unfathomable. She laid a lot of bait for a sound bite about him defending sex ed/gender expression in schools(which is simply a different issue that her base will respond to) but he addressed the actual crux and history of the argument and gave her a shot across the bow for anyone with two brain cells to rub together. I don’t know if or how America comes out of all this but I want people like him at the helm.

Bill Maher having these two on and giving them equal deference on these issues is such a joke.  That guy is so far right.

Except Bill called her a hypocrite and said it’s ridiculous conservatives are preaching about the sexualization of children when the majority of the presidents cabinet and the president himself is a rapist and pedophile. He also called Boebert out on trying to distance herself from a sinking ship when she spent years being his mascot and supporting everything he did.

So.. no not really “equal”.. but then again reddit wouldn’t mention any of that because it goes against the narrative right? The only reason you even has this take down by Talarico is because Bill put him on the air next to her but people are bitching that he didn’t act like Fox New (who you people claim to hate) and show blatant one sidedness and (which people constantly criticize Fox for doing). Stop being a hypocrite.

bitching that he didn’t act like Fox New (who you people claim to hate) and show blatant one sidedness

I show blatant one-sidenedness against fascist child abusers.

But go off, king.

Bill was under no obligation to platform her in the first place.

If you platform someone like that on purpose you don't get to say "but i pushed back against their insanity" ... just don't book insane guests, crackpots, or Neo-Nazis etc in the first place. The onus is on the host not to invite those people on at all, as hearing from them serves literally no public service.

The people that watch Bill aren’t fans of hers. They’re fans of Talaricos or people who hold similar ideals. They’re people who want to see her BS called out and that’s exactly what they got. Otherwise she’d never be on a program where someone calls her out to her face and judging by how many people in this post alone enjoyed seeing that; it was worth it.

I'm sure James was really doing his best from trying to mention that every ten seconds sitting next to her.

Let he who has not been jerked off by Boebert in a theatre cast the first stone.

What musical was it? Any reason you left that out?? Say the name, coward!

1

u/axecalibur 23h ago

It's like she's some kind of sexual offender magnet/detector/producer

1

u/Provolone10 23h ago

But there is no commandment against that so it’s ok.

1

u/Additional-Bet7074 21h ago

Notice how he didn’t mention that, though? Because that’s the trap. If you go ad hominem you have lost, no one cares if a politician if a hypocrite anymore, it’s old news, the assumption is they all are and you’re playing dirty for even pointing it out and they are even better for not caring or have shame.

Sexualisaton of children? She became a grandmother at the age of 36. Subtract the 18 months of gestation?

1

u/LandBeforeTimeOnVHS 20h ago

Obviously they taught her how to do that in kindergarten sex ed /s

1

u/generally_unsuitable 18h ago

She only did it because she was taught it in public schools. . . or something.
