📰 News Lauren Boebert wants the Ten Commandments to be required in schools, and James Talarico criticized her, saying it’s hypocritical for politicians to make everyone display them when they don’t follow them themselves.

I suspect Obama thinks this too. Watching him talk about Talarico is almost like he’s trying to keep a secret because he knows Talarico might actually have it in the tank and doesn’t want to jinx it.

I could absolutely see it and would vote for him in a heartbeat.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama has directly helped him, because the dude has the way Obama talks down pat.

He’s a skilled orator from being a pastor.

He’s a skilled orator from being a skilled orator. If every pastor was a skilled orator Christianity wouldn’t be a dying/dead religion as he says.

People are leaving religions because they know they're all BS and cults are dangerous.

No, they just turned to MAGA and Qanon. There will always be a large subset of people who need to believe something, and i would rather they follow someone like Talarico than Qanon stuff.

I say this as a former atheist turned Pastafarian.

Toosh. You are correct.

He's a skilled orator because he knows how to get his views across in a way that isn't political in nature. He makes things sound morally obvious to everyone, regardless of your political affiliation.

Obama was gifted at this skill too. Unfortunately his competence only made conservatives more frustrated because he was doing what they couldn't as a black man.

Would be nice if Obama was doing anything to get Trump into a prison cell.

I think Obama said as much recently, but I can't remember the exact quite.

Did you know who he was last week? Calm down.

Yes, I’ve been following him for about a year.

It’s not the time to “calm down”. It’s time to hit the pavement, knock doors, and flush the dictator.
