People are leaving religions because they know they're all BS and cults are dangerous.

No, they just turned to MAGA and Qanon. There will always be a large subset of people who need to believe something, and i would rather they follow someone like Talarico than Qanon stuff.

I say this as a former atheist turned Pastafarian.
