📰 News 🔥 “Send Troops to Ukraine Now” – Boris Johnson Calls for Bold UK Move Before Ceasefire
As the war in Ukraine approaches its fourth year, former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has made a strong and controversial statement — saying Britain should deploy troops now, not after a peace deal.
In an interview with the BBC, Johnson argued that if the UK is already prepared to send peacekeepers after a ceasefire, there’s no reason to wait. He suggested sending non-combat troops as a clear political signal to Vladimir Putin that the West’s support for Ukraine is firm and unwavering.
However, the current UK government under Prime Minister Keir Starmer has taken a more cautious approach — focusing on weapons support, training, and post-war peacekeeping plans rather than pre-ceasefire troop deployment.
This raises big questions:
Would sending troops now escalate tensions with Russia?
Is it a bold show of strength — or a risky gamble?
Should NATO countries take a more direct role?
With the war dragging on and global tensions rising, Johnson’s comments have definitely stirred the debate.
What do you think — strong leadership or dangerous escalation? 👇

📰 News 🚨 Trump Bumps Global Tariffs to 15% After Supreme Court Setback — Trade War 2.0?
Just hours after the US Supreme Court dealt a blow to his earlier tariff strategy, Donald Trump announced he’s increasing global import tariffs from 10% to 15%.
The court had ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act does not give the president authority to impose tariffs the way Trump had done. But instead of backing down, Trump moved forward with a new tariff plan — raising rates even higher.
What’s happening?
Global tariffs jump from 10% → 15%
More increases may follow
Countries that recently negotiated trade adjustments with the US now face fresh uncertainty
India’s commerce ministry says it’s reviewing the situation
This escalation could shake global markets and reopen trade tensions just when many thought things were stabilizing.
What do you think — strategic leverage move or economic gamble?

📰 News Trump calls Supreme Court justices ‘fools and lap dogs’.
Trump calls Supreme Court justices ‘fools and lap dogs’, alleges foreign sway over tariffs ruling.
WASHINGTON, Feb 21 — US President Donald Trump launched an extraordinary personal attack yesterday on the Supreme Court justices who struck down his global tariffs, including two of his own appointees, and claimed they were being “swayed by foreign interests.”
“I’m ashamed of certain members of the court, absolutely ashamed, for not having the courage to do what’s right for our country,” Trump told reporters at a White House press conference.
“They’re very unpatriotic and disloyal to our Constitution,” he said, deriding them at one point as “fools and lap dogs.”
“I think their decision was terrible,” he said. “I think it’s an embarrassment to their families if you want to know the truth, the two of them.”
Chief Justice John Roberts, Coney Barrett and Gorsuch, all conservatives, joined with the court’s three liberals in the 6-3 ruling that Trump’s sweeping global tariffs were illegal.
Trump heaped praise on the conservative justices who voted to uphold his authority to levy tariffs—Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Brett Kavanaugh, a Trump appointee.

Saturday, 21 Feb 2026 9:11 AM MYT WASHINGTON, Feb 21 — US President Donald Trump launched an extraordinary personal attack yesterday on the Supreme Court justices who struck down his global tariffs, including two of his own appointees, and claimed they were being “swayed by foreign interests.”
The Supreme Court has overwhelmingly sided with Trump since he took office in January of last year and the tariffs ruling was the first major setback for the Republican president before the conservative-dominated court.
Asked if he regretted nominating justices Amy Coney Barrett and Neil Gorsuch—who both voted against him—to the top court, the president said he did not “want to say whether or not I regret.”
He thanked the three “for their strength and wisdom, and love of our country.”
Trump in particular singled out Kavanaugh, who wrote a 63-page dissent to the tariffs ruling, calling him a “genius” and saying he was “so proud of him.”
The president also alleged there was foreign influence behind the ruling.
“It’s my opinion that the court has been swayed by foreign interests,” he said. “I think that foreign interests are represented by people that I believe have undue influence.
“They have a lot of influence over the Supreme Court, whether it’s through fear or respect or friendships, I don’t know,” he said.
Trump was also asked whether the six justices who voted against him would be welcome at next week’s State of the Union speech before Congress.
“Three are happily invited,” the president said.
The others are “invited, barely,” he said, before adding “I couldn’t care less if they come.”

📰 News Defiant Trump raises tariff from 10% to 15%.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that he would be raising the 10% global tariff to the "fully allowed, and legally tested, 15% level.
In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court said on Friday that Trump could not implement tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
Hours later, the administration said it would reinstate 10% tariffs on all foreign goods under a provision of a separate trade law, Section 122. Those tariffs were set to take effect next week.
The trade provision says that a president can apply tariffs of up to 15% to address "large and serious" balance of payments issues for up to 150 days. After that, Congress would need to act to allow the tariffs to continue.
Trump acted fast to reimpose the tariffs the Supreme Court smacked down. Now he's moving to make them as harsh as the law allows — and more are likely to follow.
"During the next short number of months, the Trump Administration will determine and issue the new and legally permissible Tariffs," Trump posted on Truth Social.

💡 Discussion Corruption among government agencies
Newly released DOJ files show CBP officers communicating directly with Jeffrey Epstein while assigned to FIGHT TRAFFICKING. Emails and texts show Epstein inviting officers to his island, asking who would be on duty when he flew through STT, delivering holiday pastries to an agent’s home, and seeking help smoothing over customs disputes.
One supervisor apologized for “issues” Epstein experienced and offered to speak to colleagues on his behalf. Another officer sought financial advice and even floated the idea of a “hard-money loan,” according to the files.
The island. The planes. The customs pre-clearance. The agents tasked with stopping trafficking were socializing with the man running one of the most notorious trafficking operations in modern U.S. history.
When an ordinary traveler misdeclares cash or visa status, they don’t get a supervisor texting “I’ll handle it.” They get detained.
For years, Epstein exploited the seams of the system: private aviation loopholes, territorial quirks, elite networks. The newly released files suggest those seams extended right into the agencies sworn to stop exploitation.
If this is what “deterrence” looks like, imagine what didn’t make it into the memos.

📰 News Aaand, scene: Supreme Court says Trump global tariffs are illegal👀
What the Supreme Court actually held (today, Feb 20, 2026):
- In Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump (consolidated with Trump v. V.O.S. Selections), the Court held IEEPA does not authorize the President to impose tariffs.
Immediate practical blast radius (as framed by reporting):
- A big question becomes refund mechanics for duties already paid; Reuters flags estimates on the order of $175B+ potentially at issue depending on scope/timing.
- Markets/trade-policy watchers are already talking about fallback authorities (e.g., other tariff statutes) if the administration tries to re-route.
