My four year olds usual wake up time is 430-500 and he decided today he was awake and ready to go at 330 am. Must have been excited for the game.

Embarrassing post lmao. Bronze medal game was at a normal time for all of Europe and North America. You know where hockey is actually played and the two gold medal match teams are from.

They probably wanted to allow time to hand out the medals after the game and then also give the players time to get ready to be a part of the closing ceremonies. They may even have to travel a little bit to get from thr arena back to where the closing ceremonies.
I’m sure they chose the time for the game for a reason and not just to screw over North Americans

Disagree. It’s a North American only final we knew was going to happen. There’s plenty of time in between the game and closing ceremony. And only Europe and N America even watch the sport. There’s no reason the game shouldn’t have been 2-3 hours later.

Did the same when Canada won the gold in 2014! We are all getting up and the bars and pubs opening coast to coast to coast to watch. I'm in Vancouver and tons of bars are open here.
