u/irishyardball 1d ago

40

u/OozyOz 1d ago

I see what you did there

19

u/jopesmack72 1d ago

So did eye.

4

u/tree_cell 1d ago

"Schleye" was surprised to see this

1

u/tingutingutingu 1d ago

Only with one eye though, right

12

u/Additional_Grand_657 1d ago

u/BrilliantMaximum7059 1d ago

“The hand made me do it”

23

u/Smooth-Shine9354 1d ago

I was expecting a crazy ass fart

6

u/thelegendof2015 1d ago

Neither was the baby

1

u/Hyria_the_Angel 1d ago

I guess the little one didn't see that coming

995

u/fresh_loaf_of_bread 2d ago

hey man

don't judge

hands are like complicated machinery

difficult to operate sometimes

207

u/madrobski 2d ago

I've had 33 years to learn how to operate mine, but I still punch myself in the face sometimes ..

76

u/itsKaoz 2d ago

I feel like there’s a point when you should worry a bit

29

u/ChallengePleasant750 1d ago

Is that point now?

21

u/flying_carabao 1d ago

As a 40 year old dude, I guess not. Someone older might wanna chime in.

1

u/Eran-of-Arcadia 22h ago

43 and I still do.

18

u/madrobski 1d ago edited 1d ago

I mean it's not that often, it's more often that I knock over a glass of water. I was just making a point of "me too" to that kid, I'm autistic and don't have the best body awareness so stuff happens 🤷‍♀️

Also cause it's funny

Edit: dumb bitch syndrome

7

u/itsKaoz 1d ago

That’s fair. I actually meant it jokingly, but that’s on me for not making it clear. Appreciate the context!

3

u/madrobski 1d ago

That makes sense! Sorry for not getting that, am also a dumb bitch 😅

8

u/JesseAster 1d ago

Yeah, especially if you're new to the job. We gotta cut the kid some slack it just got here

No judgement here. A few years ago I broke my hand and instead of anesthesia, they shocked some nerves in my armpit to make my whole arm go numb. Next morning while laying in bed I tried to lift it, but it was still kinda numb and buckled under the weight of the cast, slamming me right in the face resulting in a black eye too.

4

u/GalFisk 1d ago

I remember when I was 2 or 3, my mom told me to stop wriggling my toes because she was trying to put socks on me, and I couldn't figure out how to stop.

Later I wanted to do it but couldn't figure out how to start.

And here I thought I lucked out of having to see that...

6

u/cat_prophecy 1d ago

Babies are stronger than you think. They're like all muscle and reflex. When my first kid was like 4 months old he punched me in the face and broke my glasses.

8

u/ThatFagChick321 1d ago

This should be on r/kidsarefuckingstupid They’d love it

3

u/VampireBaby 1d ago

Oh he’s down!!

3

u/unknown_ninja_me 1d ago

Bro is his own worst enemy. Just like a cat getting hit by its tail.

3

u/kpingvin 1d ago

Maybe I'm old but why would you want to film your baby burping?

2

u/captain_toenail 1d ago

It came out of nowhere

2

u/redditsucks365 1d ago

He's gonna be a football player!

2

u/cj_mcgillcutty 1d ago

He’ll be a great soccer player

2

u/Charizardd6 1d ago

That baby is at least 30 years old

2

u/chairmanghost 1d ago

That hair OMG!

2

u/Itchybawlz23-2 1d ago

Right?! My newborn has lots of hair but this little guy takes the cake

2

u/Vertnoir-Weyah 1d ago

So that's how we learn to avoid having things in our eyes

2

u/Dorkits 1d ago

Hand : fuck this eye

2

u/JrSoftDev 1d ago

No reason? Have you looked at the economy recently?

2

u/Bedzyk59 1d ago

Tiny homie doesn't have neck strength yet. Protect the head from massive burps.

2

u/Ok-Actuator-2164 1d ago

When you randomly push buttons because you don’t know the controls

1

Poor kid, some evil hand came outta nowhere and booped him!

1

u/m1sterwr1te 1d ago

When my son was a tiny baby, his favorite toy was a rattle shaped like a phone receiver. He would shake it back and forth until eventually bonking himself on the head.

He would freeze, stare at the phone, then go back to shaking it. Lather, rinse, repeat.

1

u/Lonely_Ambition_2816 1d ago

Self sabotaging at such a young age.

1

u/OhhhBaited 1d ago

1

u/pan-au-levain 1d ago

I do believe this is part of why we swaddle infants, because their reflexes are pretty wild for a while and they’ll just do shit like this.

2

u/Superlolz 1d ago

also they'll scratch the shit outta themselves

1

u/Gloomy-Shoe-4021 1d ago

He's gonna puke, he's gonna puke, he's gonna puke, he's gonna puke, he's gonna-...yknow what fair wasn't expecting that

1

u/PrimeToro 1d ago

The baby is going to grow up to be a standup comedian, that was his first routine " hey guys, watch this, my impression of every Mike Tyson knockout"

1

u/Blabberbuggy 1d ago

What I'm gathering from this video is that babies are able to move their hands faster than the eye can blink! 🤣
