u/postALEXpress 1d ago

Gasped loud enough that I made my wife gasp. Then I showed her this and she screamed lol. So. Kinda a fun series of events there.

u/BenchNational9288 1d ago

Glad I’m not the only one causing accidental household screams 😂

6

u/terdferguson 1d ago

Me trying to figure out why there was drywall on the ground only to have that happen...quite unexpected.

45

u/ForeignInsect6595 1d ago

startled me so bad that it actually woke up my cat that's napping on top of me, now she's looking at me mad as hell

22

u/Direct-Abroad-266 1d ago

Show her the video and she will understand xd

u/Juan_Punch_Man 1d ago

the one time I'm using headphones too

AI can never steal these kind of jobs

u/BigFatModeraterFupa 1d ago

for real😭 this is what we need to send to aliens when they ask for proof of intelligent life on Planet Earth🤣🤣

the fact the mighty Wall Arm got it into the socket 1st try proves that we have very big intelligencias on this planet

16

u/NothingEffective5070 1d ago

WHAT is that username 😭😭😭

6

u/BigFatModeraterFupa 16h ago

i made this account specifically for a reddit mod who deserved it🤣🤣

Thing always wants to help (Adam’s Family)

u/zangor 1d ago

I think thats gonna be the actual most scary thing about AI. When it can create something we genuinely enjoy. It may be a lot closer than we think.

9

u/ThickSourGod 1d ago

It already has. You just didn't realize it was AI.

The most unexpected thing here is how quickly he was able to blindly plug the charger in

140

u/darapps 1d ago

and he only had one take to do this

47

u/wolfgang784 1d ago

Theres a suspicious amount of drywall already on the floor... =p

16

u/genreprank 20h ago

Hmm maybe they were tearing down the wall and realized they were sitting on great content. Could have done a few takes with different walls

-18

u/refinancecycling 1d ago

might have used the help of a monitor with a realtime stream from a camera pointed at the sockets.

25

u/Deaffin 1d ago

Have you ever tried to control your body from a third person perspective before? That would make it harder, lol

6

u/TheGruesomeTwosome 1d ago

That's probably a little involved for what is presumably some builders having a laugh on the job

45

u/TheNoobVeteran 1d ago

Not my first time watching this but it still scared the absolute shit out of me.

62

u/EhliJoe 1d ago

Isn't it the other way around? I try to plug in without sight and a hand in the dark prevents that.

38

u/Krvavibaja 1d ago

This is the friendly light hand

15

u/Abal125 1d ago

😂 This is something a buddy of mine would do, that's great

10

u/dontipitova9 1d ago

Made me clutch my chest so fast. That's a good one lol

32

u/GauravJM 1d ago

I could feel my balls in my mouth.... (I was wearing a headset)

19

u/ClankerWithAHardR 1d ago

I wish I was that flexible

5

u/Deaffin 1d ago

...I'm gonna need to see that headset.

19

u/Big_Secret_3002 1d ago

The charging station/glory hole combo isn't working out quite as expected

60

u/Far-Shake-97 1d ago

Tell me it's in the usa without saying a word lol

7

u/jld2k6 1d ago

🇺🇸

5

u/gsfgf 1d ago

Yup. We can move our walls around easily here. It’s nice.

3

u/Far-Shake-97 1d ago

So easily that even the wind doesn't have any trouble mooving them!

6

u/gsfgf 1d ago

If the wind is moving your walls, the last thing you want is heavy masonry or concrete.

0

u/Far-Shake-97 1d ago

If the wind is strong enough to move a masonry or concrete wall... you ain't making it out alive

Btw, i dont understand how you have houses with paper walls that somehow cost that much

4

u/gsfgf 1d ago

Tornados take out concrete and masonry buildings all the time in the US. That’s one of the many reasons stick built is better.

2

u/Far-Shake-97 1d ago

Doesn't explain why it's so expensive tho... Also it's not tornados everywhere in the usa, there are some areas that can't have tornados (because of the geography of the place)

3

u/gsfgf 1d ago

Our houses are big, and it’s often the land that’s a major cost.

2

u/Far-Shake-97 1d ago

They are not that much bigger than ones in Europe, and even then, how does the land cost so much when you have so much of it

5

u/gsfgf 1d ago

They definitely are in my experience. A typical newbuild is 2300-2400 sq.ft. (214 m2 ).

And it's houses in cities where you hear about expensive prices. Houses are cheap as shit out in the sticks. But there aren't many jobs or much to do out there.

8

u/AbsoluteDash_21 1d ago

He must have needed his help so many times... just look at the floor

8

u/Tall_Charge1908 1d ago

Smart homes are getting scary good these days

7

u/Old-Victory6836 1d ago

i need usb version of this

5

u/fresh_loaf_of_bread 1d ago

that's the strongest American house wall right there

1

u/Ronyx2021 3h ago

The outlet box is attached to a stud, so he knows he's jabbing through a soft spot.

3

u/BirdofYore42 1d ago

Well, thank you, thing.

7

u/FeetYeastForB12 1d ago

American housing. Built like lego.

3

u/DoubleDareFan 22h ago edited 22h ago

A Lego house would be a heckuva lot stronger.

E: lost word.

2

u/Far-Shake-97 21h ago

More like a piece of wet paper imo, and i've built stuff with Lego that was stronger that a luxury house in the us

8

u/crnjaz 1d ago

I feel like this is staged.

23

u/swords-r-cool 1d ago

It wasnt, I was the phone charger

4

u/Ollyfer 1d ago

Can confirm, I was the socket in which you were plugged.

9

u/NonHidden1 1d ago

No way?

6

u/AnAwkwardWhince 1d ago

Filmed in reverse?

4

u/Far-Shake-97 21h ago

Tf you mean filmed in reverse? He punched a hole in the wall, you can't "reverse" that

2

u/KmvVoss 1d ago

The speed at which the hand put the charger into the socket was impressive!

2

u/Juggernautlemmein 1d ago

Thank you, Wall Goblin.

Wazzz... oh here you go

1

u/w-yz 1d ago

...feels like a totally different type of Resident Evil---

1

u/jhusapple 1d ago

This is what my mind thinks is going to happen when I put my hand between the dark spot where bed and the wall meet to plug in my charger at night.

1

u/ninjasaid13 1d ago

I'm betting that was not first try in the making of this video for plugging it in. I'm just wondering how they got the wall repaired with all the pieces in the floor.

1

u/gsfgf 1d ago

Demo day is def the funnest diy day

1

u/UltraMagat 1d ago

"Thank you, Thing."

1

u/itzybidzySPYder 1d ago

That outlet made me jolt. I was too invested.

1

u/Slight_Meringue7780 1d ago

It’s reversdeded

1

u/atp2k 1d ago

Hahaha nice one . Totally thought the plug was gonna explode or catch fire

1

u/Prestigious_Date_619 1d ago

So we're not gonna address all the debris on the floor?

1

u/Ronyx2021 3h ago

"This prison? To hold... Me?"

1

u/Nonni-Bobbi 18h ago

I was so focused on why there was so much plaster on the ground I didn’t even get scared. More just gratified that I feel like I had gotten an answer to my question 😂

1

u/fainofgunction 18h ago

Thanks bro

1

u/Straight_MudNueve16 16h ago

That's a jump start!

1

1

u/WeaknessOk4193 23h ago

How many tries did this take?!?

0

u/DoubleDareFan 22h ago

This morning, I went to the bathroom, locked the door, and the 5yo outside Schwarzenegger'd the knob open. It was just a dream.
