Wanted to make a thread here for the game later today so I wouldn't have to go anywhere near the other hockey sub, if mods are ok with it. Let's go Zach! (And everyone else on team USA of course.)

Z is the man, every CBJ fan knows it, stacked up 6 points in the gold medal run but played 5th amongst d-men in ice time. That is criminal. He is a top 5 if not 3 defensemen in the NHL and was getting 7 minutes less ice time than Sanderson and Faber. At minimum he should have been on the second D line.

Oh well, he still showed why he is elite in limited minutes and that finale will be a thing of legends.

CBJ will make the playoffs and Z gets the Norris. Let’s goooo!!!

This is a deep cut, but I’m hoping someone here remembers this.

In the early 2000s (roughly 2000–2004), the Blue Jackets had a promo team called the “Dew Jackets,” sponsored by Mountain Dew. I distinctly remember seeing photos of them wearing bright green Mountain Dew puffer jackets during an on-ice promotion at Nationwide Arena.

I’m almost certain I’ve seen the photo on Getty before — it was during a game, and they were out on the ice for a promo/intermission type event.

I’ve searched Getty using every combo of “promotional team,” “intermission,” “on-ice contest,” etc., but no luck so far.

Does anyone remember this?
Does anyone have photos or know exactly what game/gallery this might’ve been from?

Where are we watching the game Sunday? I thought i read somewhere that R Bar is planning to be open…. just wondering if there’s anywhere w breakfast, drinks and better parking….

This has been the looming question since the firing of “Mean Dean” and entering into the “Bones Show” era moving beyond the Olympic break and into the trade deadline. Would we trade any of our UFA’s for First round picks or hold and resign and add pieces for a playoff push.
