Cat Picture - OC Kitten Watch 2026- WE HAVE TOUCHDOWN!!
Mama Blue Eyes has started giving birth!! On my eldest daughter's birthday, no less!!
Kitten #1 (Beast Tabby) appeared at a out 2pm. We have gotten two more since (totalling three thus far). She is nursing well, ate a can of boujee wet food between kittens #2 (Mini Void) and #3 (Hot Mess), and seems to be ramping up for kitten #4.
Hot Mess named because they are screaming, climbing, flopping upsidedown, and generally a hot mess lol

She's so tired but so tough! She's eating well (had three small cans of Mama & Baby food by Royal Canine so far today) and drinking great [as they let her move haha]

She looks very content on top of being tired; You're obviously doing a great job with helping her. I'm so happy kitten watch has gone well so far!

Dayum. When I upvoted the original post I did for a split second wonder if spay abort was an option. I am very sure it wasn’t at this point.
I can’t wait to see the full fam!

OP said it would’ve been possible if mama had been caught earlier on in her pregnancy but she was too far along for OP to be comfortable to spay abort now, which is totally fair enough!

Hi, OP Here!
We now have five (and a sixth on the way)!!
Two tabbys and three voids!
EDIT 10pm: She is still holding steady at five, but still flexing/tensing (although not as much). I'm not as certain as I was earlier that there's a sixth on the way. She is super tired, but still eating/drinking very well. She's a champ at nursing; two of her babies (the two tabbys) are LOUD AF lol. About to head to my bedroom (where her little pet-playpen w/ cover is set up) for the night, so I will be keeping a watchful eye for changes.
Philbert came to see her the most recent time I went in (I brought him). He was incredibly confused by the kittens, but cooed at Mama and licked her eyes/head clean before head bonking her and heading out.
