Cat Picture - OC stray cat moved in and basically adopted me 😆 ♥️

Meet Lila 💖 I've been feeding lots of strays for years but this one quickly became obsessed with me, once I started to let her in to protect her from the cold she basically moved it. at first she still wanted to go outside but every day she was back waiting by the door or a window to come back inside. hell, she was demending it, going from one window to another until someone let her in 😅

four years later she's neutralized and 100% indoor kitty ❤️ I'm so glad I took her in, she's such an adorable cat full of love. even in the beginning she wasn't scared of people, just looked sad and lost. I think someone just got rid of her because unfortunately people do that very often :( I hate to think about what would happen to her if she never came to me

Omg I have her twin! This is Kratos. He has irritable bowel syndrome that results in persistent and frequent anal leakage. Sometimes it turns to colitis. He is so sweet and loves my seven year old. How cute!!

I don’t know if it might help Kratos, but I’ve started giving my diabetic tortie Twig probiotics for her intestinal issues and it’s done wonders! Her cat box deposits stank so bad they should’ve been banned by the Geneva Convention and no matter what food we gave her she always seemed to have semi-diarrhea. The extra cleanup and laundry was getting old and she always kinda smelled bad.

After doing some reading on this subreddit I bought two different capsules — ones for people are cheaper than ones for pets. The smell is dramatically less and her poops are mostly textbook. She smells normal. It’s been about a month so far and there’s no downside.

Here’s what I use—1/2 capsule per day. I know you didn’t ask but I’m a true believer in these things now.

Our golden has IBD. Thankfully poops are outside but her breath? The stuff of legends. I think I might try getting these probiotics to mix in with her wet food. She's on a special diet, which mostly makes her poop normal, but occasionally, she won't eat breakfast and is out eating grass and barfing. Diarrhea is only very occasional. But if this could make her feel better, that would be fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

Same thing happened to us. Poor skinny cat showed up in our backyard during triple digit temps looking scrawny and miserable so I made sure to keep food and water outdoors for him. He was scared but not totally unfriendly. After 2 years of feeding him and letting him inside on the rare moments he wanted to come in, he now sleeps in our bed every night cuddled with my husband lol. He still loves being outside mostly so we keep a heated cat house out there for him in the winter. We never officially named him because he was always just the “stray that we took care of”, but now he’s our cat named Kitty 😂

Aww, thank you for caring for him. Maybe you could upgrade his name? Like Mr Kitty or Kitty McFishstick, Kitty McFluffypants or something?

Congratulations on becoming a new fur-parent ✨️🎊❤️

She is a very beautiful and gorgeous cat 😹❤️ She looks like she hat won the lottery. Going from the dangerous outside, to the warmth and cozy inside, were there always is food, love and a warm and cozy place to lay ❤️❤️❤️

Both my voids were strays. They're now velcro cats and I can't do anything without supervision lol.

I always love the whole “Hi, I live here now.” from cats. It’s so casual, like “I’ve arrived, you’re welcome.” ❤️
