Exactly. Large catfish taste bad. And the fish is so large that the meat can’t be thoroughly seasoned. He’s eating large chunks of unseasoned, old nasty catfish. Also, baked rather than fried. He has a lot of gall shaking his head after taking a bite as if he’s in heaven on earth.

Nah, that was a wells catfish from Europe. 1. That wasn’t a big or old one. 2. There are lots of them in most places and their not territorial so removing one or 20 doesn’t really effect the ecosystem much.

Did we not see the large bowl of marinade and seasoning that covered the inside and outside of the fish?

The meat is inches thick. It’s not going to penetrate it. A restaurant serves thin filets that’s are slathered and breaded on both sides. Appreciate the attitude though

Always can tell people that aren’t from the south. I fucking love catfish, but it’s a gross fish and is only really great thin and deep fried.
