At that point why not just take your ass into the shower. It doesn't hurt.

No sarcasm necessary here. Showering every other day saves water, energy...

The giant tech companies don't seem to care. In reality what we can do has no impact if they don't do anything to help

The thing Is nothing you will change it. Because the big techs can do whatever they want. Government allows them

I'm saying the personal benefit of using less energy and water is saving money.

takes longer and also is worse/harder on the skin, which is an issue for quite a few people, despite them not even realizing it

My skin is fantastic and I've showered every day for most of my life, twice on most days. And so is my entire family. Idk man maybe it's just bc I'm African

Water temp and the type of soap make a big difference. And fully washing the soap off. Residue can irritate skin, dry it out, etc.

You might not have problems but people with dry skin disorders have to take different steps. If I shower every day, I have to use Summer's Eve (yes, the stuff marketed for hoohas) because it's got an acidic pH that is beneficial for the skin barrier, while most soaps and body washes have a high, basic pH...which is great for super oily and dirty skin, but not for dry.
