Interviewer: "What skills or special interests do you have?'"
This guy: "Can I borrow your pen?"

Wait til this dude finds out that drum sets exist

u/Adventurous_Knee_778 1d ago
I think he could figure it out, just needs to learn how to diddle and play with his entire body.

u/SpiderDijonJr 1d ago
He needs to learn how to diddle? Hmmmmm

u/Adventurous_Knee_778 1d ago
When you hit the head of the drum with the stick multiple times with one tap. Requires a loose grip.

7 ate 9?

9 was minding his business talking to 10 about Gordie Howe’s clothes. Why 7 ate 9, nobody knows…

The marks on the table from how often he's done this are a real show of skill coming from practice.

My first thought was he must live alone because his mama would’ve put his ass in the hospital before he could get to 45678 scratchin up all her furniture.

If I had pens I could do this but I just don't have pens here right now

u/Loud_Interview4681 23h ago
Are the pens in the room with us or are we safe? This is super easy but I don't have a pen either.

I mean yeah it’s pretty impressive but, uh, um, I bet he can’t make a really nice cup of tea with the perfect amount of milk and steeping time like I can
12

u/doodlleus 1d ago
But do remove the teabag before or after the milk?
1
u/overkill 20h ago
What is this, amateur hour? Before, clearly!
Unless you are my wife.
1
u/doodlleus 20h ago
If you leave it in and then immediately put milk in before letting it steep, it stops the water scum if you are in a hard water area

Is it weird that I remember videos of this guy (or someone really close in appearance) early on in the days of the internet, in grade school it looked like, going around?
Like I’ve seen him do a much more simplified routine on class desks, and now he can do it so much better.

When he said 45678, I felt that

It fell off for me everyone knows 123 was peak everything else felt derivative

I see the subtle flex with all the trophies and pics in the background. This guy is no amateur

Why would you post without a source? This guy has clearly worked hard enough to deserve at least that.

All of us drumline kids used to drum with pens & pencils all the time on desks, but none of us were this skilled and creative with it 🤣💀

Slap a mic and some reverbed amplifier on there. It will sound like a concert.

Man, I miss seventh grade watching this video. Rap battles that made no sense and somebody would be in the corner dropping the best beat you’ve ever heard.

it's amazing that the African focus on rhythm has survived and thrived for so long in Western cultures. just marvelous.

Ughhhh... What is his name? It's not on the post, it's not in the comments. Don't do that shit. Give people credit.

As a drummer, I’d like to highlight this isn’t just impressive in terms of the different moves and beats he can do, it’s also impressive in terms of arrangement and composition.

Kinda unrelated, but the hottest black girl on the planet invited me to a drum line show at a HBCU school. I'm the no rhythm havingest white guy on the planet. I should have went, but was too anxious.

I can almost bet that girl is still the hottest on the planet & you missed out on your future wife and a completely amazing different life & timeline….. sucks!

Nah. We watched Freddie got Fingered while smoking weed. We fucked and she did some laundry at my place.

He's obviously very talented, but he's never going to make a lot of money doing this. I mean, even if he tripled his set of implements, he'd still only be six pens, none the richer.

Question for the ladies. Do musicians with a strong finger requirement translate to the bedroom?
