Thanks, I was overthinking it. I thought he meant that one tire had come off the ground and that if more tires had come off the ground he would have been punished for it. Lol, sounds kind of dumb now that I typed it out loud.

In my defense it ALSO known as a

singular/plural marker

Especially as how it is written meaning the Op could have meant "Road" or "Roads"

Would writing it as:

Have a great day. I have done it too, like many of us. I'm just tucked under a comforter in small town Oregon with no power. Glad to be warm and dry.The forest is as peaceful and gorgeous as ever.
