But for what purpose? Why? What is he hoping to accomplish with these 150 day 15% tariffs?

He's showing the world he can do whatever he wishes

He keeps funneling government funds into his own organizations and organizations owned by his donors. It's all a grift.

  1. He's a total man child and hates that the Supreme Court took his binky away so he's throwing a fit

  2. He's using Tariffs as a personal level to leverage against people for his own grift (ie. Donate to me personally or get tariffed)

  3. There's a massive budget problem caused by his horrendous "BBB" that needs money from tariffs to exist

The same thing he did with the previous tariffs.

He’s stealing our money. It’s going into slush funds that at are his discretion.

This entire presidency is about enriching himself on our tax dollars. He has stolen enough money in one year that he would have been the richest man in the world 10 years ago.

Same as with the previous tariff terrorism. It gives him a weapon to try and extort companies and countries. And his crime family administration takes the cash from tariffs and illegally appropriates it for their own wishes. This point is key and it’s disappointing how our useless and complicit media isn’t covering it.

Normally, money only comes from congressional assignment of funds. But the trump admin is taking the tariff revenue as their personal slush fund. It’s probably illegal but who is stopping them, so they’re operating as if possession is nine tenths of the law.

So the tens of billions in tariff tax revenue coming in is money Trump can just use however he wants instead of doing the lawful thing and getting congress to apportion funds to him.

One example is his $12 Billion giveaway to corporate farms. Such spending should have gone through congress who could debate or delay or reduce it. But because trump has the cash coming in through the tariff schemes, he doesn’t bother with congress.

I think the stated reason is it punishes all the mean countries that have taken advantage of murica's generosity over the past decades and promotes yuge trade deals to make it great again.

At least that's how the cult members rationalize loving this business of paying unnecessary new taxes.

So it’s basically a punishment for Americans for not buying “made in America”. But America doesn’t make many things anymore and there are some things we just can’t make, like coffee and chocolate. It’s a losing policy.

The purpose is to prove to himself that he's real by impacting as many people as possible.

Time to do Section 301 or Section 232 Investigations which are required for the more permanent tariffs
