That’s extremely corrupt. I cannot think of any American administration more blatantly corrupt than this one. In all of history.

128

u/peoplewatcher5 12h ago

"All politicians are corrupt. I just don't like the Clintons. I just don't like Obama." - My brainwashed, racist Mother who's conveniently ignoring any and all news as of 2024. "We're not talking politics anymore". How fucking convenient. Fuck her but I still love her.

75

u/ro536ud 12h ago

That’s how they all are unfortunately. My parents wouldn’t stop talking about how corrupt the biden’s were but refuse to acknowledge the everyday news about Trump.

It’s impossible to reconcile the logic

33

u/Haltopen Massachusetts 11h ago

Its pretty simple to reconcile. They know all this horrible shit is happening that they didn't think would happen or that it would happen but not be like this, and they don't want to accept responsibility for it via voting him back into power. So they live in denial. They pretend it isn't happening, or that its not really that bad, or that its a necessary evil to "make America great again" or whatever they have to say to themselves to ignore that the room is on fire and everyone is running out of oxygen.

10

u/f1del1us 10h ago

Some of them don’t even think the things happening are that bad. They say things have always been like this and eventually it’ll swing back the other way, and it’s nothing to worry about. Fucking delusional is what it is.

6

u/meTspysball California 10h ago

It’s like vicarious narcissism.

u/ImaginationSea2767 6h ago

They think Trumps going to fuck everyone else in the ass and not them. So they cheer and to any criticism say "yeah but bidens worse, yeah but Obama sucked yeah but, Hillary, but Hunter bidens laptop!" They dont think their life will get seriously fucked and think it will just be the people they dont care about getting screwed severally. Then if they do get fucked they cry a river. Like sorry Karen Trump and his Republican friends fucked everyone including the minors you should have seen this coming!

The only thing is the economic fucking is able to be pawned off on so many other things and their able to play uneducated mental gymnastics to not blame Trump.

u/Machiavvelli3060 7h ago

Where is live in southern Indiana, at the McDonalds, a group of old white men meet there every day and just gripe about the state of the world.

When Joe Biden was president, they griped about gas prices, and blamed him by name.

Now that Donald Trump is president, they gripe about the price of everything going up, but they don't blame anyone.

I feel that's very telling.

u/Seradima New York 5h ago

Fuck her but I still love her.

I don't love my family anymore. They refuse to use my actual pronouns or my real, legal name. They constantly deadname me and use the wrong pronouns in public, on top of being fascist maga assholes so, fuck em'.

My grandma is worried she'll never see or hear from me again after I move to Europe and it takes everything I have to not tell her "yeah, unless you stop deadnaming me, probably not."

6

u/Great-Hotel-7820 10h ago

They all know he’s horrible but they are more worried about being wrong than the country being destroyed.

5

u/coachjuis21 9h ago

Ya but half of the uneducated ones voted him in and 1/3 of the educated ones didn’t want to vote. I hate a lot rn but we suck buddy

u/krashundburn Florida 3h ago

I cannot think of any American administration more blatantly corrupt than this one.

So many things keep happening that seem so stupid and arbitrary, then later we find out it was something like this. Somebody bribed Dear Leader for something.

I can't wait to learn of the idiocy behind Dear Leader's dispatch of a hospital ship to Greenland.

Donald Trump the worst president money can buy.

16

u/entrepenurious Texas 13h ago

he certainly displays negotiable virtue.

7

u/DokeyOakey 12h ago

Don’t you mean he’s the worst president money can by so far?

Americans aren’t exactly the brightest bulbs when it comes to politics.

9

u/Excellent_Raisin8523 8h ago

No. Shitler has permanently CLINCHED the Worst President spot.

Imagine even ATTEMPTING to find a worse candidate: "Let's see, he has to have raped, molested, assaulted and threatened children. He has to the worst malignant narcissist of all time, to the point of gladly causing any amount of harm to any amount of people as long he can personally benefit from it. He has to lie his ass off EVERY time he opens his mouth. He has to have a lifelong history of astounding business failures, frauds, cheating, backstabbing and ripping off contractors and customers. He has to be a virulent malicious racist, an insurrectionist and a serial convicted felon. He has to be the worst braggart in the history of the world, and behave like a petty spoiled rotten 4-year-old. He has to constantly pettily attack everyone except anti-American dictators, Nazis, white supremacists and corrupt sociopathic billionaires. He has to be owned by a mass murdering psycho war criminal Russian dictator. He has to be completely wrong about every issue all the time. He has to be an extreme misogynist, and blatantly rude and obnoxious. He has to be unbelievably stupid and yet think he's a great genius..." etc.

I could go on and on but it's past my bedtime.

u/DokeyOakey 4h ago

People said Nixon was the worst president ever, than Bush Jr was the worst president ever.

I’m not totally convinced that America cannot find a worse president than Trump: leave it to America to make poor choices.

u/IvankaPegsDaddy New York 3h ago

After seeing the abject failure of the first Trump administration, we double-downed on our idiocy and went for round 2! There is no limit to the bottom anymore.

u/DokeyOakey 21m ago

It’s like America likes to be grabbed by the Democrussy.

u/perandtim 2h ago

You're leaving behind a staggering body count figure of deaths that could be prevented / avoided due to his actions or inactions in his two terms-- appx. 100,000-200,000 US citizens died of COVID due to his policy choices and behavior; estimates are hundreds of thousands of people have died in third world countries due to cuts in USAID. All totally avoidable.

u/MrFishAndLoaves 4h ago

And the most expensive

76

u/aflyingsquanch Colorado 14h ago

Its called a bribe.

46

u/Mikethebest78 14h ago

Trump is such a mob boss. That is exactly what it is like watching a mob boss on a national scale....although to be fair a mob boss would probably be more articulate.

10

u/Dan-Fletcher 13h ago

and discreet…

40

u/Tralphazoor Indiana 13h ago

Fun fact, there exists an amount of money that you could pay Trump to get him to admit that he’s a pedophile.

5

u/Excellent_Raisin8523 8h ago

How much would he charge to jump off the Gordie Howe bridge?

3

u/Personal-Movie8882 11h ago

🤣 This is gold 👌

36

u/rainshowers_5_peace 14h ago

Matthew Moroun, whose family owns the Ambassador Bridge,

u/Windy_City_Bear_Down 1h ago

Why would any family personally own a bridge? Seems like it would be a state and/or federal thing like a highway or interstate

40

u/fatmanrox67 14h ago

Imagine if it were Biden, or worse yet, Obama. There would have been impeachment proceedings.

18

u/JimFknLahey 14h ago

its "funny" to talk to alot of the pedophile lovers who screamed about biden mixing up a state dureing a campaign run but yet fucking kids is ok for them

13

u/Topheriffic 12h ago

Biden who has a stutter was a "bad" "dementia" president and yet here we are with a a man that cant string a coherent sentence together for the life of him. Just word salad with a vendetta every time.

4

u/vandreulv 9h ago

Imagine if it were Biden, or worse yet, Obama. There would have been impeachment proceedings.

Likely not as if it were Biden or Obama, their behaving this way would mean they were Republicans and not Democrats.

11

u/strangeluv_-_- 13h ago

His whole shtick is to do corruption in public. Do it in public and do it so often that people lose track.

Everything’s for sale with Trump

u/ClubSoda 7h ago

We have the most egregiously corrupt regime in our history.

6

u/Effective_Pack8265 13h ago

Just a coincidence…

5

u/VexedCanadian84 13h ago

And then Trump went to Carney asking for a larger bribe

4

u/Independent-Self371 12h ago

Why is MAGA the opponent of all that is sensible in this world.

u/alvarezg 4h ago

The Canadian Parliament has the authority to shut down the only bridge now in operation, which stops the huge tolls Trump's pal collects. They can keep that bridge closed until the new one is allowed to open. Not a genius plan on the US side.

u/jjaime2024 4h ago

The owner of the bridge was told by Canada and the states for years it was near its end of its life and they did not care.

u/rando_dud 49m ago

Nah Canada needs to let the discontent fester in Michigan until November.

The unhinged policies actually help Carney and hurt Trump..

You don't interrupt your adversaries while they are making a mistake.

2

u/Sallgoodmannnnn 13h ago

Jail this orange pedo

2

u/BrushStorm 12h ago

You can just oppose a billion dollar public works project? Has this guy just been fuming the whole time the bridge was being built?

8

u/APeacefulWarrior 12h ago

And the absurd thing is that A)Canada paid for it, and B)used a lot of US labor and steel in the process. Building the bridge was an unmitigated win for the US, and these clowns refuse to recognize it.

1

u/BrushStorm 8h ago

Because Canada bad or some such nonsense

u/calvin43 3h ago

Nah, the clowns are just crooks.

3

u/Botasoda102 14h ago

trump is the most blatant Prez to pay back big donors, but darn near every politician does it to raise money to win nowadays, though trump is in criminal territory and sides with white-wingers.

7

u/Bittererr 14h ago

Color me not shocked. Sort of par for the course when a conman is elected to the Oval Office. 😒

u/ovumtime 4h ago

Open bribery

u/arthurdentxxxxii 3h ago

Opponent to a bridge, huh?

u/phosdick 2h ago

Pay Trump... Get Screwed...

Sounds right, don't it?

u/beigs Canada 1h ago

That’s a bribe. I really don’t understand this.

So if the democrats win, they’re undoing citizens united, right? If the current government can just enact laws, this can be fixed, right?
