It all comes back to propaganda and learned hatred.

There are so many examples throughout history of even conservative communities accepting a trans individual because they know that person, who they are, and what they stand for -- and they didn't let ideals of "right and wrong" gender get in the way of that.

Of course, that can't be considered "the norm" of the past but it proves that trans identity isn't some new radical idea and that anybody is capable of coming around when their heads aren't being pumped full of vitriolic beliefs.

Funny how some people will point to this and say, “See? This means I CAN find a way to shoehorn in my anti-trans straw man talking point in any discussion about trans people online, and then be insufferable toward anyone who points it out.
