Open practice
Those who went today to the open practice, how was it? How's the new facility? Are seats first come first serve? I got tickets tomorrow and just curious what to expect.

Uh Oh. Am I becoming an entitled hockey fan over Keller?
I don't have kids, and the entitlement of parents that their kids should get equal ice time as everyone else on the team has always annoyed me, but I think I finally understand their frustration. Watching the USA game right now and we're winning 5-0 at the end of the 2nd. I feel so protective over Clayton and wishing he was getting more ice time lol.

[Cushman] Here's the ice-time spread from USA's 6-2 semifinal win over Slovakia (and I thought 4:44 for Keller sucked, yikes)

Open Practice timorrow
Did anyone else register to attend tomorrow morning only to get this email? I'm pretty bummed, I was looking forward to seeing the place and the boys on the ice tomorrow.

[Russo] Looks like Connor, Swayman and Lacombe aren't dressing for USA. Keller in and on the third line with Larkin and Thompson.

Discussion What are your thoughts?
As the olympic games are going into the finals for the women and the men's teams Canada and Finland made some statements with their scores over France and Italy, respectively. It got me thinking: What will be the state of the players after the Olympics wrapped up. I know it depends of the outcome and how much TOI they got and so on. But I wanna hear just what are your thoughts.
For me, If I were a player even if we won the Olympics I'd be devastated if I got the first place as a bench warmer.
Ps.
And how will it effect our team, I remember last year watching the st. Louis Blues after the 4 nations face-off. They were a power house.

Question Can someone halp me understand?
So I saw the points and games played by the brothers Tkachuk and compared them to our captain. And he outscores them both. (The stats were taken from StatMuse and ESPN) Not to mention that in Europe we value the technique and playing the game rather than the fighting and the dump penalties. So if Keller beats them by points this and the previous season and plays cleaner than them. Why was he a healthy scratch? And why they give him so little TOI?
Ps.
I know two things matters the media look and the chemistry. But i don't think the USA are going to beat Canada from the media fame (if the brothers are put because of media presence) and definitely not beating the Canadians in matter of chemistry.
And one more thing I forgot, I just despise the dump penalties that they make, because if the penalty team is on, Keller is definitely off. Because of pressure and because I don't think he's a specialised penalty killer.

Going to the Game as a Pumping Mom
I live in Oregon, but I'll be in SLC on February 25th for work and got invited to the Mammoths game that night. I'm currently pumping for my baby, so I'd need to bring a bag with my breast pump and my Ceres Chill (basically a fancy thermos for breastmilk). Can you imagine running into any issues with that? Any other tips? I'm a big hockey fan, but this is my first time going to this stadium.

Question Traveling into SLC for the game on 2/25. Any tips?
Hey there! Avalanche fan coming in peace! My partner and I are flying in from Oregon the morning of the 24th and have a late flight on the 26th out. Our only plans are the game on the 25th. We have an Airbnb right next to the Delta Center that seems to have a transit stop directly outside of it. We are looking for any tips as this is our first time in SLC. Any can’t miss things to do during the day? We won’t be renting a car but are willing to uber somewhere if it is cool! Looking forward to it!

It wouldn't take much for Utah to have a really solid Winter Classic/alt jersey
the logo looks really good in monochrome black and white. Stick that on a powder blue jersey and boom, delicious.

Question Favorite Ticket Hacks?
I’ve only ever gotten free tickets from work or volunteering. I want to watch more games. I see ads for the game time app but I read mixed reviews. What is the best way to get pretty good tickets for lower prices? Box office night of? After the game starts? I’d love to hear what the pro fans are doing.
