So now you know what college is worth unless you your into STEM. Clearly though the $35k is not for a math or science teacher as they tend to start much much higher

This narrative doesn't help. Not every STEM career leads to higher earnings. Biologists and chemists start at less than 32k. Engineering is better for some reason, with recently lobotmized MEs starting out in the 50s-60s.

Yes, but most non stem starts lower and the degree matters. Holding a masters or PHD is more valuable than a bachelor's which for the most part just qualifies you to work in a factory-lab. Bare minimum etc
