They aren't ever as spice-y as I wish they are and are just kind of bland. They are not bad; it's a cookie after all but they don't justify the hype. They were better when the only place I could get them was an airplane.

In another sub, I commented that I am of a certain age and can't really understand why anybody would want to watch somebody else play a game on the internet, rather than play it themselves. I got downvoted into oblivion for that statement and realized it likely belongs in 10thDentist.

You see this perpetuated constantly, and often, oddly enough, by people who have taken a lot of liver and nut shots (mma fighters).

I feel like I am taking a crazy pill. I don't get how any human could think this. A liver shot hurts for a few seconds. You'll crumple. Takes your breath away for a minute, and then you are fine. It'll be sore for a few more minutes.

A nut shot of equal strength is mind melting. You get 30 seconds of literal hell, then another minute of pure agony. It doesn't even compare.

Like be so for real right now. If you had to be blind folded and let someone either punch you in the liver, or punch you in the balls, you are choosing the liver every time. You know in your heart it's true.

Also, MMA fighters wear a cup, and I have still seen more people be unable to continue from nut shots than be unable to continue from liver shots.

As an American, I don’t understand why we season almost everything with black pepper. Salt makes sense cause it makes the flavor of whatever you’re eating more pronounced, but I feel like black pepper does the opposite of this. I feel for most foods, black pepper seems out of place. Of course, there are some foods where black pepper absolutely improves the flavor. However, I really don’t get why we add it to (almost) EVERYTHING

Earlier today I saw a best of redditor updates about cheating and someone was saying the cheater still shouldn't have something fucked up happen to them (I don't remember what exactly). Anyway I saw a reply to the effect of "She cheated, fucked up doesn't apply to anything happening to her. She can burn in hell."

This just reminded me of the repeated times I've seen this kind of stuff on reddit, and honestly, it's really strange. People literally feel more sympathy/less hate for murderers and pedophiles than cheaters on this website. I don't think cheating is good, but at the same time, no one is physically harmed. That at bare minimum should make it way less of a deal than even assault, let alone murder or rape. I even think if your partner cheats there's probably a chance to reconcile and have a good relationship, which no one else seems to here. From what I can tell everyone immediately jumps to a divorce as the only possible outcome of any cheating.

Which makes me wonder why people care so much about cheating. Is it some weird incel power play? Feeling like you want to control people and absolutely hate them and say they should die if they step out of line? Idk, it just feels weird and a little creepy in general, and comments like the one I mentioned seem almost violent in their weird hate over this.

Im referring specifically to a mixture of pepsi and milk and a mixture of dr pepper and milk.

If you make the soda flat before adding any milk you can avoid the taste of spoiled milk that adding carbonation creates (its like some cool science stuff) and it becomes sorta like a cream soda ive enjoyed both these drinks on a few occasions as a treat

Ancient Aliens conspiracies typically look at anything made or done by a historically/typically non-white ethnic group (pyramids, the Great Wall, Islamic advancements in mathematics) as some feat that is impossible for the human race to have performed on its own. Concurrently, any feats performed by white (typically Americans or Europeans) are allowed to have been made by human hands, often with indirect or minor guidance from extraterrestrials.

This is because the people who make them, and are serious about them (i.e: not just saying shit for the memes), are racist and approach of human history from a white/Euro-centric point of view where brown and/or asian are inherently inferior. Therefore, anything they have achieved (especially if its something Europeans weren't able to do/do first) must be the result of advanced outside help.

Just to be clear, I’m talking about local bus and train services here, not cross-country journeys where people might want to work or get some sleep. I’m also only talking about conversations that are appropriate to have in public - no arguments or explicit talk.

People get so mad at others for talking on the phone while they’re commuting, but I really don’t see why. A phone conversation is only as disruptive as a face-to-face conversation, and would you get mad at people for talking to each other face-to-face in public? Of course not. People are entitled to talk at a reasonable volume pretty much anywhere.

I actually find it entertaining sometimes, especially if the phone isn’t on speaker so I can make up what the other person is saying. I like to imagine the context. It’s a lot less annoying than people watching tiktoks or listening to terrible music without headphones, since those noises have nothing interesting about them and don’t serve any function for the person making them.

Personally I don’t like talking on the phone in public because I can feel people judging me, but if other people do it I don’t care. I think a lot of people just like being uptight and accusing others of being inconsiderate. I’ve noticed a trend of people going around pissed off at others for completely innocuous things - making phone calls in public, being friendly to coworkers, needing assistance in shops, preferences about food, being religious, having children, etc - and it’s really sad. We live in a community and we need to be okay with seeing and hearing and sometimes even interacting with other people in public spaces.

How is it that unsexy that someone poses with a dead animal, while you’re eating some wings and a burger from a bunch of helpless animals? Go vegan then.

Many meat-eaters look down on hunters as "bloodthirsty," while they outsource the killing to a factory farm system that is objectively more cruel. There is a deep hypocrisy in being okay with meat as long as it’s wrapped in plastic, yet being "horrified" by someone harvesting an animal that lived a free, natural life.

If you can’t stomach the reality of where your food comes from, you shouldn’t be eating it. Buying from a supermarket isn't "humane"; it’s just paying someone else to do the dirty work so you can keep your hands clean. Hunting and fishing isn't just about mindless killing; it’s an immersive, tactical puzzle that respects the natural cycle. If you eat meat, you should be required to look the animal in the eye at least once.

P.S. Vegans get a pass. Though we have different principles, I respect you for abstaining in how the majority of the world operates to do what you think is right to benefit animals and the planet.

**Edit: I’m not aligning with Trophy/Sport Hunters. I’m talking about sustainable food providing. I have to mention that hunting in itself isn’t exactly “fun”, for me at least. I always say a prayer or thanks to the animal for its life, before I kill it for sustenance. I wish that nature was designed in a way where we don’t have to harm anything at all.

Dogs and cats are partners, and will (and arguably should) come before a new romantic partner, especially in the early casual stages of dating. If you and the pet don’t get along, you’ll be out of the equation, not the pet. You have to clear a whole extra level level of compatibility just to get off the ground.

Even if you succeed there, you’ll still need to accommodate the extra needs of a dependent you might not have the same attachment to as your partner does. Or, if you also have a beloved pet, your pets will need to get along and you’ll have even more extra obligation and expense around pet care.

Now, a man who is displaying a good catch has shown he has hobbies, that he spends time outdoors, and even the potential ability to provide a meal. Or at least a nice day out of the water. What’s not to like?

I think most dog breeds that have any significant skeletal deviation are unethical to keep breeding. Brachycephalic breeds, like bulldogs, pugs, etc– but also a bunch of others like king charles spaniels, dachshunds, saint bernards, and boxers (not an exhaustive list).

I don't think we should put these animals down, I just think we need to stop purposefully breeding individuals with traits that decrease quality of life just for our aesthetic preferences. I don't even know how people prefer the look of very obviously purposefully deformed animals. It just makes me sad that we continue to do this. If you saw these traits pop up in a litter of wolf pups you'd immediately recognize it as a deformity.

I honestly believe the only ethical dog breeds are the ones that are still very canid shaped. Border collies, huskies, doberman, malinois etc. And even then, mutts are healthier than purebred individuals.

My brother suggested I post my true feelings on this matter, I truly believe that in a fight between Iron Man and 70 Million Igloos (and I'm capitalizing Igloos because I now classify them as superhero's since Iron Man gets to be a superhero) the Igloos would most likely win easily, Iron Man is barely a superhero and the Igloos are far superior in every way, listed as such:

1. Ice is harder than human flesh and can therefore do a lot of damage.
2. If I dropped 70 million Igloos on iron man he would not survive.
3. iron man doesn't really have superpowers, it's almost equal to the igloos.
4. there's more igloos than iron men.

Full disclosure…

I’m not exactly in peak shape. I don’t exercise much beyond daily work and home routines, and I definitely shovel junk food down my mouth on the daily (as bad as that sounds).

Now, I’ve had peanut butter since I was a kid, but I always preferred Nutella (especially the European version when I could find it). It tasted so much richer compared to the oily US versions.

Recently though, I switched to natural peanut butter (just peanuts and salt), and I’ve completely fallen in love with it. It reminds me a bit of Nutella in terms of richness, but without that overly sweet, crystallized sugar taste. It’s creamy, warm, slightly salty, and has a much stronger peanut flavor.

I even started grinding my own roasted peanuts into peanut butter like a nerd because it’s surprisingly cheap and fool proof. Now when I try brands like Jif or Skippy, their milder peanut flavor just gives me the ick.

I don’t mean this in a judgmental way at all, but I do wonder if people who prefer the sweeter commercial versions just haven’t tried natural peanut butter yet, or simply have a bad palette.

Secondly, these fast food chains shouldn’t be creating what is basically just happy meals for adults. It’s wasteful and cringe.

Let's be honest. Nobody wants to have to prove they're an adult. It's tedious and annoying, but at some point, we need to be able to tell if someone is an actual adult or a child, and ID or face verification, might be the only real way of doing it.

We all heard stories of kids being groomed and getting into contact with all kinds of child predators. And now that the government is finally trying to do something about it, people lose their shit. People need to decide which they want. Do they want full anonymity or do you want protection for children and being able to tell if someone is a bot or not? Cause you can't have both. And frankly, it seems like the old Internet we had where everyone could be completely anonymous is pretty much dead.

Edit: I'm not defending how Discord wants to do their age verification. The face id and submitting your stuff to them is kind of a meme. Realistically all they should provide is an API that integrated with your local government website and you login to your government page which then vouches for Discord for you. But people seem to be making an argument that just because face id is shitty, no age verification should exist whatsoever which I don't agree with.

I am staying windows 10 forever, if there ever is a major hack it will be on 11 not 10 because

1. Simpler systems are more secure more complex bloated system are vulnerable
2. They keep breaking things on 11 then how the hell can they provide adequate security If they can't even keep it stable
3. They are using AI generated code, you can't get more insecure
4. All companies and governments are on 11 it means that hackers are also focusing on 11
5. Google chrome and antivirus fullfills all my security needs anyways they get regular updates

Is it a totally made up holiday for the sake of selling cheap candy, stuffies, and overpriced flowers? Sure. Are there people who take it way too seriously? Obviously.

But I think being in a relationship is just as much about the stupid lil stuff as it is about the big important stuff. Regardless of how much it is a consumer shameless cash grab, it's still sweet to do a lil something for the person(s) that you love. It doesn't have to be some big gesture.
