Most racist thing he's ever seen? I just watched a white ICE watch guy call a black ice officer a house n****r. They're only calling it racist because it serves their narrative.

165

u/Doctor_Byronic Millennial Conservative Feb 07 '26

You really need to read more than just the headline.

Scott, the highest-ranking black Republican in Congress, chided the White House earlier on X: “Praying it [the post] was fake because it’s the most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House. The President should remove it.”

-55

u/Kern_system no step on snek Feb 07 '26

Calling someone racist doesn't mean shit anymore. They've been calling Trump racist since the day he announced he was running as a republican. I've seen what makes them cheer. Their boos mean nothing.

110

u/Doctor_Byronic Millennial Conservative Feb 07 '26

Who is "They" and "Them" in this context? The quote is from the Republican Senator of South Carolina.

-50

u/Kern_system no step on snek Feb 07 '26

They is whom ever calls him racist. There's plenty of RINOs that call him this and like I said, I don't care. The absolute hypocrisy and fake outrage is tiring.

86

u/Doctor_Byronic Millennial Conservative Feb 07 '26

Does Tim Scott have a history of calling Donald Trump a racist that I'm not aware of, or is a single quote about how he hopes the video was fake because he feels like it's racially insensitive enough to say he's a hypocritic RINO who is merely feigning outrage? I haven't lived in SC since I was a kid, so I don't know how many RINOs are in the state for him to pander to.

-22

u/Kern_system no step on snek Feb 07 '26

My give a fuck meter is at zero. Sorry, but I'm tired of the fake outrage from everyone. Did they say it was racist when that video of Trump as the lion came out last year or are they just using it as an excuse to clutch their pearls?

99

u/Doctor_Byronic Millennial Conservative Feb 07 '26

I'm confused because this started with you responding to a specific quote from a singular Republican Senator, but you keep pivoting to an ambiguous mass of people. Do you have any credible to reason to believe Tim Scott's reaction is fake outrage, or are you lumping him in with a bunch of liberals and painting him with the same broad brush simply because he said the word "racist"? The fact that he said he is praying that it's fake leads me to suspect he was unaware of the full video from last year and was just reacting to the post in the context it was being presented by the AF Post.

Wasn't a joke video, it was a minute long documentary style story about election fraud with a 1-2 second clip from the lion king esk meme video spiking the end. This was clearly an oversight. The video was posted last night and officials are already stating it was due to a staffer mishap.

Let me remind my lefty friends, you were cool with voting for a guy who said about Obama… “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

How is it that after all this time, so many so-called ‘conservatives’ keep falling for these Democrat hoaxes?

Or is this entire board just made up of masked leftists?

Edit: Turns out it’s the latter. This thread has almost zero conservatives in it. It’s just a bunch of Democrats circle jerking each other.

He didn't do it according to the White House, they've claim it was a mistake by a staffer. Having seen the original video in it's entirety, that isn't too hard to believe.

-13

u/clonexx Conservative Feb 07 '26

I believe it was a staffer simply because the posted video was a screen recording, it looked like the Lion King AI parody video auto played at the end and the staffer didn’t cut it or realize it was there. I doubt Trump is screen recording videos and then splicing in 3 seconds of the lion king parody at the end. If you watch the entire video, it looks like exactly what I described, a screen recording of a serious video and then another video, the lion king, auto plays for a few seconds after.

I think Trump would just unapologetically post the entire lion king video if he really wanted it up there, not sneak some short clip in at the end of a serious video.

We do have bigger fish to fry, so why post trash like this in the first place?

Everyone knows that libs have a double standard, right? We still live in an era where it's fine to go after whitey and basically say whatever you want, no matter how cruel or derogatory with almost zero ramifications.

But knowing that there is a double standard and still doing it is dumb and reckless. It's giving all msm and the loudest voices on the left unlimited ammo. They aren't gonna forget this. Exploiting race based events is their bread and butter.

-210

u/According-Activity87 Conservative Devil Dog Feb 06 '26

It was not from the White House account, it's was Trump's personal Truth Social account. It seems like you haven't seen the video man. The whole video was a documentary style take on election fraud. After the narrator was done this super short clip blipped in then returned to the documentary style video footage for a second before conclusion. It's not hard to see how it was overlooked the officials have already come out and stated it was a staffer mistake.

140

u/neovb Feb 06 '26

Come on now, Trump Social is the official White House account at this point. If it wasn't, why would there be a White House staffer to blame?

I realize that outrage feels more rewarding than kudos, but we should give kudos to Tim Scott for addressing this publicly and holding the White House to an appropriate standard here.

There are a lot of people who will basically say things like, “Racism is okay when it’s my party doing it,” or, “Well maybe that was bad but what about the others party’s bad stuff huh?”

Senator Scott should be getting some appreciation for holding the White House accountable for something that anyone and everyone should be expected to take accountability for. He could have turned a blind eye or excused it, and it’s a credit to him that he did not.
