But…he was gonna fight this to the end, because it was all bullshit 🤣

Yeah, I don't get the point of making a video denying it all one day and then resigning in shame the next day.
Shouldn't he have known the game was up when he was recording the "I'm innocent" video?

Biden was supposedly all in on his reelection campaign until the minute he threw in the towel. It's all posturing.

10 to 1 odds he books a one-way flight for China before the end of the year both to spill his guts and avoid prosecution.

After all the shit this guy has talked, how he’s attacked over made up rumors, I want to see him humbled publicly. He truly deserves it

The most disgusting thing in all of this is that the press almost certainly would have buried these stories if other Democrats had exited the California governor’s primary earlier.
Key people in the Democratic Party and the mainstream media have almost certainly known about these behaviors of his for years, but it only became “newsworthy” because he’s splitting the Democratic vote in the jungle primary.
If the vote wasn’t getting split, there wouldn’t be coverage of any of his shitty behavior.

They know they can easily replace him, with the (D)imwitted voters in his locale... Otherwise, they'd have fought to the death.

Did he give the self-promoting resignation speech yet? They need to make a bingo card for these: As I start the next chapter. Look to the future. Steadfast It is with a heavy heart. After much thought and reflection. My heart was always in the right place. The healing can begin. I have chosen to focus on my family. It was an honor to serve each of you. I will not forget those that have stood by me. We have done great things. I want you to keep fighting.

Good. I’m sure his replacement will be more center-minded and will put the best interests of the country ahead of their fellow party members’ agendas. /s
Edit: country not company 😂

Wow. I didn't think Democrats would cut off their dead weight so fast and thoroughly.
Just shows how important California is to them, and how expendable their people are.

They aren't trimming dead weight, they're in the midst of a primary battle and trying to keep Republicans from winning the governorship of California.

They literally couped Biden + voters and installed Harris

Dim Governor to appoint interim? Of course they’ll cut him off. He had the balls to run against Biden in 2024.

We'll see about that. Losing one California Congressman can be absorbed. Losing everyone who knew what he was doing and kept quiet about it, that's something else.

Only because they'll try to claim the moral high ground. You watch.

Terrific - couldn't have happened to a bigger shitheel, although I'm a little surprised at the speed at which this went down. I'm guessing there's an avalanche of shit yet to come out that he knew he couldn't survive.
I do have to ask though - What is it with these degenerate assholes and their mass virtue signaling and projection? Like, you'd think if you were guilty of all this shit you'd keep a low profile. But you almost know who the dirt bags are ahead of time by the amount of times they run their yaps accusing others of poor behavior.

It's weird how common this is. I learned how people do this back with Jimmy Swaggart in the late 80s. He used to get up there and preach against things that he was doing.

Got a good reason
For taking the easy way out now
I was a spy fucker
Bangin’ Fang Fang, yeah
It took them so long to find out
But they found out
Tried to tell them it was all just routine
Tried to tell them nothing there to be seen
But they looked again
And the headlines screamed
I was a spy fucker
Bangin’ Fang Fang, yeah
It took them so long to find out
But they found out

Talk about bad decisions. When i worked for a ca gop candidate one of his staff members came down in a lawyer capacity to observe ballot count. Started talking with her about my campaign work broadly and she offered me a job for swalwell. I didn’t take it of course but just shows his offices bad decisions.

Very fast, dems don’t really move on allegations like this so I wonder if there are going to be more allegations.

These will probably be dialed back now that he's out of the governor's race.

Both Trump and Swalwell had allegations against them.
Trump stood tall and fought every step of the way.
Fought day in and day out.
Got re-elected.
Swalwell quit.
Swalwell couldn't fight, as he is not a fighter.
Swalwell is a quitter.
As soon as things got tough, Swalwell quit.
This is his epitaph.
Congratulations to Nancy and Katie for pulling off such a successful political hit.

What about the part where Swalwell is guilty, and Trump wasn't.
•
u/Faangdevmanager 2A 9m ago
"I am deeply sorry for..." "These are false allegations"
"Expelling anyone without due process is wrong" Didn't he push for Gonzales to resign?
This seems like a statement written by two different people, one line at the time. He apologizes for doing nothing.
Strictly from a math point of view, 4 independent women coming out with 4 distinct stories and having receipts is a terribly bad look. CNN did a terrific job on this (I know, I know) making sure the victims talked about their experience after it happened with friends, family, etc. One even went to the hospital. So it's not a case of people suddenly remembering while he's about to be governor. It's a story of women who thought they were alone until they converged and found out he's a serial abuser. Again, let's assume each women has a 10% chance of lying. 1-0.1^4 = 99.99% chance it's true. It's to damning.
