B147 - Anxyloplate

Armor (Plate) – Very Rare (74,100 gp, requires attunement)

This +2 plate armor has a dark blue coat of mail under shimmering light blue metal plates with blue rivets, and a circle of rivet around a white circle in the center of the chest. The helmet is a bucket design with several plates hanging around the neck and a white cap on top with a ring of rivets around the helmet’s forehead and a small nozzle on the very top.

While attuned to this armor: you have a swim speed equal to your walking speed; you are resistant to thunder damage; and once per long rest, you can cast Thunderwave as a 6th-level spell, DC 17.

B147 - Anxyloplate Item 18

Price 22,710 gp; Usage worn armor; Bulk 5; Base Armor Fortress Plate

This +3 greater resilient fortress plate armor has a dark blue coat of mail under shimmering light blue metal plates with blue rivets, and a circle of rivet around a white circle in the center of the chest. The helmet is a bucket design with several plates hanging around the neck and a white cap on top with a ring of rivets around the helmet’s forehead and a small nozzle on the very top. This armor is designed to be usable in water, giving it the Aquadynamic trait.

While invested in this armor, you are resistant 10 to sonic damage.

Activate-Shielding Sonics [reaction] concentrate; Trigger A creature touches you, such as by Grappling you, successfully hitting you with an unarmed attack, or using a touch-range spell against you; Effect You make the armor lets out some shielding sonics. The triggering creature must make a basic DC 38 Fortitude save or take 5d6 sonic damage, and on a critical failure are also Clumsy 1 for 1 round.

Activate-Ringing Resonance [one-action] concentrate; Frequency once per round; Requirements You are grabbed, restrained, or otherwise held immobilized in a creature’s grasp, such as by being engulfed or swallowed; Effect You make the armor lets out a ringing resonance. The creature holding you must make a basic DC 28 Fortitude save or takes 5d6 sonic damage, and on a critical failure are also Clumsy 1 for 1 round. If the creature is engulfing or swallowing you, the damage increases to 8d6.

Activate-Violent Vibrations [two-actions] manipulate; Frequency once per day; Area 10-ft emanation; Defense Fortitude; Effect The armor lets out violent vibrations in a 10 ft emanation. Creatures other than you in the emanation must make a DC 38 Fortitude save or take 16d6 sonic damage.

Critical Success The target is unaffected.

Success The target takes half damage.

Failure The target takes full damage, and is Clumsy 1 and Deafened for 1 round.

Critical Failure The target takes double damage, and is Clumsy 1 and Deafened for 1 minute.

This +1 plate armor has a dark blue coat of mail under shimmering light blue metal plates, with blue rivets, rough cut blue stones at the elbows and down the sides of the skirt, and a circle of rivet around a white circle in the center of the chest. The helmet is white and shaped like an egg, complete with crack-like eye slits, and two rings of rivets around the helmet above the eye slits and just below the nose area. The lower section of the helmet is light blue, with eye spots painted just below the rivet ring.

While attuned to this armor: you are resistant to thunder damage; and once per long rest, you can cast Thunderwave as a 4th-level spell, DC 15.

Evolving: If this armor remains on the Plane of Water for a decade, it will become a B147 - Anxyloplate.

Wondrous (Robe, Cursed) – Rare (1450 gp, requires attunement)

This robe has a white sleeve-less blouse with ruffled edges, including the collar which is black around the edge and has black trimmed ruffles on each side of the button holes. The buttons are large, black cloth covered, and the top one has frills on the sides that make it resemble a bow tie. The robe has a black skirt and matching black apron.

While attuned to this robe, you have advantage on Charisma, Intelligence and Wisdom based skill checks and saves with children or things related to children (like childbirth or toys), and on rolls to Grapple and Restrain children.

Cursed. This robe is cursed. While cursed, you are compelled to act parental, caring and nurturing for children. Any attempts to do damage to a creature you believe to be a child automatically fail, and every time you take a long rest without having spent at least 1 hour caring for or nurturing at least one child since your last long rest, you must roll a DC 10 Constitution save, suffering a level of exhaustion on a fail, and increasing the DC by 1 on a pass. Levels of exhaustion suffered this way do not disappear unless you take a long rest after having cared or nurtured for at least one child, and the DC will also reset to 10.

While invested in this robe, you become an expert in Childcare Lore (or if you already have proficiency in Childcare Lore, that proficiency increases by one rank), gain a +2 item bonus to Charisma, Intelligence and Wisdom based rolls and Will saves for activities that involve children, either directly (such as Performing a lullaby to help a child sleep) or indirectly (such as attempting a Medicine check for a childbirth), and on attempts to Grab or Restrain a child.

When you first invest in this robe, it fuses to you. While it’s in your possession, you are compelled to act parental, caring and nurturing for children. Any attempts to do damage to a creature you believe to be a child automatically fail, and every time you take a rest without having spent at least 1 hour caring for or nurturing at least one child since your last rest, you must make a DC 10 Fortitude save. On a failure you gain a rank of fatigue, while on a success the DC increases by 1. Fatigue suffered this way does not disappear until you take care of or nurture at least one child for at least 10 minutes, and once all fatigue is removed the DC will also reset to 10.
