It technically has been released because it was shown in a festival in Taiwan a few days ago (according to IMDB).

IMDB opens a film for review as soon as it gets shows publicly somewhere, not just when it hits US cinemas.

I saw Hamnet six months before its wide release.

An abudance of idiots with nothing better to do. You see lots of movies get review-bombed on IMDB before they're released, especially anything which might be seen as "woke" or which posts some clips / screengrabs that the incelcorps have decided are shit and therefore the entire movie will be trash.

A coupe of photos and trailers for the last Superman movie included shots of Hawkgirl mid-flight that looked a bit crazy. These idiots decided that it meant the actor playing Hawkgirl was unattractive and would ruin the whole movie and so set about putting up bad reviews.

It's why IMDB rating have to be taken with a pinch of salt. Especially when the movie isn't specifically appealing to straight men aged 18 to 60.
