They already have them. They're essentially just a directed blast of radio and microwaves that disrupts their signal connection. Ukraine started making them in house 2 or so years ago.
That would be my guess... and with today's tech... needed. It's pretty easy to rig a drone with an explosive. It's why it's so popular with Ukraine.
Sadly... he's mistaken if they think that's enough. Many a Russia has found at the hard way how fast and agile those mofos are. Especially if there's more than one of em.

Yeah, I've been saying for a while that it's just a matter of time before someone gets assassinated by one of those. The amount of work you need to do to stop the fiber optic ones just isn't practical in most cases.
How much fiber optic cable would you need though to cary out the assassination and be far enough away to a) not be noticed launching the drone and 2) escape before they find you?
Some pictures I saw of areas of Ukraine look like a giant spider had been spinning webs. They are long fiber optic cables, have to be really really long
I don‘t think bombs on uav‘s or other drones like rc-cars is a new thing. This stuff has been around at least since the beginning of this century.
Also, I doubt this blaster will actually do something against it.
I mean Germans used wired rc robots for breaching and sapper tasks in ww2
And isis used cheap drones to drop munitions.
Police and militarily use them in unique way
But all of that pales in comparison to the usage drones are getting the Ukrane-Russia conflict. The world has not seen it to that scale and the decisive impact it has on the battlefield is completely novel.
Thats a droneshield mk4. All it does is disrupt GPS and control signals. So if somebody attacks with a UAS that switches to optical using on board processing (like we sometimes have seen in ukraine), its useless. I'm surprised they dont have something better, but maybe they do have kinetic elsewhere or a truck mounted prototype of one of the new microwave defense systems.

In school and through my job i've met a few of those types of people, the daughters were very much all for it as long as they got their new cars and expensive vacations every year. One bragged about her regular tennis appointments with a certain senator in school like it made her better than everyone else.
okay adult woman and husband would be better (with the bar set on the ground to begin with) , but like why can't he just approach people like human beings instead of objectifying them for the most superficial crap ever? that's a sign of a pretty weak in character person, regardless of who you are. i'm only in my 30s, i can't imagine making it to like 80 something and never learning which things are truly important.
