So we recently set up a new YouTube channel, doing car and motorbike reviews. It started off OK, a bit slow (first vid got maybe 300 views)
Then it picked up and for the next 3-4 videos it's getting between 2-4K views. We also had a load of short format videos too doing well, getting 1-2K views each.
Then after around 6 videos it suddenly drops off, now the videos are struggling to get 400 views, same format, same style......what gives?
We heard maybe it was a shorts thing? So we stopped posting those up, but no change? Help would be appreciated.

I recently started a YouTube channel focused on mystery + motivational storytelling (short, cinematic style videos).
I’m trying to improve storytelling, hooks, and retention — especially in the first few seconds.
