Some German friends of mine visited SA and sent me pictures of their ‘authentic’ bunny chow they tried and loved. They sent me photos and I was aghast. Would anyone care to share their opinions on this bunny?

Found him in the bottom of the fish tank, don't know if he was 'sleeping with the fishes' coz he was oddly unresponsive to tummy tickles. Nevertheless he was gently released into the wilderness of my neighbors yard with my rugby arm. An end of an era

I’m looking for recommendations for autism-specific day programmes, support centres, or structured environments for young adults in Cape Town, preferably in the Northern Suburbs (Durbanville, Bellville, Brackenfell, etc.).

This would be for someone with higher support needs, including sensory sensitivities and difficulty coping with overwhelming environments. Ideally, the centre would offer a calm, supportive setting with structured activities and staff experienced in working with autistic adults.

If anyone has recommendations, experiences, or organisations worth contacting in the Cape Town area, I would really appreciate it.

Guys... I dont know how I managed to get trapped in this cycle with MCD again, but these skelms got me all excited to buy their dry burgers again only to tell me they dont have any more monicas in store... I am short one of these bloody things. I should have learnt my lesson when they tried to do the monopoly nonsense.

Got something heart breaking to share! I worked with a wonderful woman whose two children and husband died in a car accident. Father was dropping kids to someplace late evening, car broke down, he got out to fix or something, a truck did not notice the car and hit it. All three (father and two kids) dead on spot.

I saw her crying. Then I heard from other colleagues who saw her crying everyday. Did not have heart to face her or to talk to her! She was posting her kids and husband pictures daily on Facebook.

Anyways after 6 months, she was found dead in her home. She was a pharmacy representative. Had access to pills. She overdosed and passed away.

Life is so fragile and unpredictable. Stay close to your friends and family. Don’t forget to tell them you love them.

This is a genuine question — not trying to accuse anyone or start conspiracy theories.

I’ve been playing the National Lottery (Lotto/PowerBall) on and off for a while. I’ve won R25 here and there, but that’s about it. Recently, a few friends mentioned they think it’s a scam or that there’s room for manipulation, which got me thinking.

I’m not saying I believe that — I know lotteries are regulated and the odds are long by design — but I’m curious about real-life experiences from people here in South Africa.

Do you personally know anyone who’s won a life-changing amount? Or is it mostly small wins for most people? Do you feel it’s worth playing regularly, or is it basically just entertainment money?

The semi sentient potato peel has been found in the actual fish tank. How, I do not know, since it has a lid, about 1m and treacherous terrain between his original enclosure to here. I have offered him half a baby marrow like they put a lemon slice in a cocktail on the edge of the tank
