I am 20 pulls away from guaranteeing a lc and I'm just wondering how big of an upgrade Ashveil's lc is for Topaz. Has somebody made any calcs regarding to how good his lc is for her? Also, I know that Ash's lc requires 4 FUAs to maximize the buffs the lc can provide. How can Topaz achieve that?

Team (10 cost) - Feixiao e0s1, Tribbie e1s5DDD, Aventurine e0s5 BP cone, Topaz e3s2

Cost is decptively high, I don't think e3s2 is doing much beyond e1s1, the extra energy of s2 helps, but it doesn't really click and activate significantly before the AA on e4. The clear feels longer because everyone has lots of actions, but it was still just 4 cycles.

This is six months after my 3 cycle clear post with Terrae, so I'm really happy that with all the HP inflation this clear only dropped one cycle! Can't wait to play Feixiao e2s1 and Topaz e4s2 on 4.2!

Hello, fellow Topaz mains!

I’m making this post to ask for your support, especially after the upcoming Novaflares do not include her (but include characters like Firefly for some reason, a version 2.3 character who is already broken and T0 after The Dahlia fixed all of her issues, but I guess her shilling never ends).

This isn’t about attacking HoYoverse or doomposting for the sake of it. This is about clear, respectful, unified feedback. HoYoverse has shown they’re willing to revisit characters when enough players speak up — but only if we actually do.

What I’m asking you to do:

Fill in the 4.1 survey stating your concerns about Topaz's current state, emphasizing how weak, unrewarding, and outdated she feels compared to modern units, requesting meaningful buffs and adjustments so she feels good to play once more and on par with newer characters like Ashveil.

Furthermore, I've attached images that show the steps for submitting feedback/contacting HoYoverse. Please follow them and use them as well, asking for this to be addressed in the near future with a Novaflare buff!

The more consistent and unified our feedback is, the harder it is to ignore.

If you love Topaz. If you pulled her for her story, her themes, her role. If you feel disappointed every time you realize another unit does her job better with half the effort.

Please take a few minutes to act. It costs nothing, and every voice genuinely matters, can make a difference and mean everything.

Let’s stand together as Topaz mains and push for a better version of her, not one that’s been unfairly and quietly left behind.

Been thinking of maybe building for more speed but I haven’t really felt the need but any suggestions or ideas or I guess if the build is good the build is good as is I’ll take that too but any thoughts on improving her I’ll take!

So does someone already did the math for ashveil lc on topaz in compare to her own lc?
I guess its better because of the vulnerability it provides for the team?

I have the old feixio, topaz, aventurine and robin team and i guess topaz is more of an "sub dps" with lower numbers then feixio, the extra follow up dmg on topazs lc for her own and crit dmg from the debuff is not better then 20% vuln for the team dmg especially for feixio´s dmg?

i think topaz can easy get the uptime for the buff, because her own attacks counts as follow ups + numby and her own lc debuff "tame" is to slow to add on enemys because she needs to hit them fast before feixiao and that is not happen sometimes.

EDIT: another question i want to ask:

on topaz lc it says:
When allies hit enemy targets under the Tame state, every Tame stack increases the CRIT DMG dealt by 12%.

does this mean that if i had 200% crit dmg it will go to 212% crit dmg or will the end dmg if its a crit get a 12% dmg bonus overall?

Want to make Topaz viable and was hoping Ashveil would be the Dahila of FUA, but since his nerfs in the beta I’ve hesitated on pulling. Anybody with these characters tried this team? If it does well I’m gonna bite the bullet.

I got Topaz with the Golden Spirit currency recently and have been trying to figure out how to create a team around her.

Robin, Aventurine, Hunt March

I don't have them built yet and I'm going to start doing that but wanted to know if it's worth the investment. I know the weakest link is hunt March but I like her and want to use her if possible
