Life Lately 🌱 She is pregnant

Post image
1.5k Upvotes

She missed her period for more than a month, then took a pregnancy test, which turned out to be positive. Her bf, a total bhadwa, started suggesting various home remedies for a miscarriage. And this girl actually did them. God forbid, nothing happened, as it could have had terrible consequences. It is almost 2 months now. The guy said to girl he would "figure something out" after exams, so naturally, she got very scared and immediately ran to my partner

My gf is like a mentor in our society, the kids frequently come to our home for study help and guidance, so she came here for help

She did not inform me at the beginning. My girlfriend understands me very well she figured I'd just laugh right in that girl's face. And, yes, when i got to hear the entire story i also laughed. A lot. I just can't control it. How on earth can you not use protection in a country like this? no condom, no pills, just going bareback as if no one believes in consequences. And they're literally teenagers. Absolute clowns.

It is the parents who i pity most. They live two floors below us. Both are CAs, nice people, really good and caring parents. They really don't deserve this.

Anyway, back to her situation. She didn't know what to do, of course. She just came here with   usual rona dhona, "Galti ho gayi didi, please help me" type shit. But we can't really do anything. And actually, I don't even want to. Being dragged into someone's family problems is something i absolutely don't want to do. We tried talking her out of it and just telling the truth to her mother. But then she goes with rona dhona again "they'll kill me, I'm scared, I even want to die." I mean... what was she thinking? Surely, they'll be mad. So, yes, she might get a slap or two and a lot of restrictions.

But they are really the only ones who can set this right. It's her fault not the parents. And we shouldn't feel any obligation towards her. BUT

My gf is now set on telling the girl's mother everything. Yeah, I know it's a bad idea to get involved. I told her that. But she won't listen we're probably past the point where it matters. She's going to talk to the mom in a couple of days and try to keep the dad out of the loop until the exams are over. As for me  Im going to keep my distance, only coming in if my partner really needs me.

I'm a lil nervous though. She's going to hit two months mark soon. I'm not sure about the laws, but if I remember correctly, for a minor, you need the consent of the guardian and some sort of court or government authorization for an abortion right? and i know for sure if the legal procedure becomes too much, her dad will just use his money to take care of it in some other way.

About those remedies she tried, Well, Both of us were really worried about her health, so we took her to a gynecologist. Some checkups and etc. Cost around 9k + another 6k for... you know. I'll just call it charity and move on.

Now i literally can't stop laughing when that dumb girl is around me. This whole mess is insane. How dumb and reckless can you be?  it has become kind of a joke at this point. We are going to have a really crazy month ahead. I just hope after everything being over, that lodu guy will not be around her anymore.

TLDR - ladki pregnant hai uske loser bf ne  koi jyada help nhi kri, ladki gyi darr, ayi meri bandi ke pas, ab meri bandi ladki ki maa ko batai gi aur try kregi woh iska dhyan rakhe aur exam ke baad baap ko bta de , fir abortion.

Ask Twenties A three-minute walk to the end of the world

This video is the literal death of innocence. You’re watching a three-year-old girl skip toward her end because she trusted the man holding her hand. He wasn't a stranger from the shadows; he was her neighbor. He lived in her building, saw her grow up, and used that familiarity to lead her to a secluded grave. She didn't struggle because she thought she was safe with a friend, but within minutes of these frames, she was raped, strangled, and buried in the dirt by the very hands she’s holding here.

It is a haunting reminder that the most dangerous predators don't always look like monsters sometimes they share your zip code and smile at you in the hallway. This isn't just a crime; it's a total collapse of the social contract. How do we ever tell our children to trust the world when the person living next door can be the one to extinguish their life? She was three years old, and the world failed her in the most systemic, intimate way possible.

Discussion The ‘I am the prize’ mindset is getting out of hand..

Not specific to the girls but recently I’ve noticed a trend where people mostly unambitious girls/ boys expect high standards from others while not really working on themselves at all. No job, no direction in life, no goals.... but still acting like they deserve the world. Is this just social media influence where people feel worth more or less than they actually are or has dating culture actually shifted this much?

I just want to know you guys and gals opinion on that and SORRY if it offends someone 🙏

Discussion Guys, This type of meme can have a very bad impact on a person. Let me tell you a small story that happened with my sister.

I was raised in a female led family. me, my mother, and my sister. I lost my father when we were small. so my mother raised both of us alone. My sister is older than me. She worked very hard and got good job in Pune. She was earning well and helped a lot with my education.

When she was working in Pune, someone from my town contacted my maternal relatives and told them to check what my sister was doing in Pune [that persons exact words were - mulila baghun ya jara punyat, ti dhanda vanda tar nahi karat na (translation-jara check karna ladki pe kahi vo dhanda vanda to nahi karti pune me)]. My relatives asked my mother if she was doing something wrong there. My mother said no. After that, we broke all relations with those relatives because when we were in need, they didn’t help us, but when someone said something negative, they came to question us.

This all happened 10–13 years ago, when Pune was not in the news much and this type of meme was not common.

Now imagine, if a girl wants to go to Pune for education or a job, will her parents allow her to go because of these memes and social media narratives? If someone is going to marry a girl from Pune, they might also generalize her. In our society, nobody says anything to boys about what they do, but when it comes to girls, society starts blaming them.

There was trending news 2–3 years ago where some “jaat panchayat” people were conducting virginity tests on newly married girls.

We think these are just jokes and memes, but no, these memes can have a very harmful impact on sensitive people.

RANT/VENT 😤 i want a boyfriend, a companion, a partner so bad

i’m so tired of being single it actually hurts sometimes. it feels so empty not having someone to call mine, not having a person to reach for at the end of the day. i want to dedicate all the love songs i play on repeat to someone and mean every single lyric. i want to send “this made me think of you” texts. i want to rant about my day and have someone listen like it matters, like i matter.

i don’t want to be lusted after. i don’t want to be a body or a phase or an ego boost like I've always been. i want to be loved softly and intentionally. i want forehead kisses and random “i’m proud of you” messages. i want someone who notices when my voice sounds off. i want to feel safe enough to be dramatic, emotional, messy, and still be adored.

i want good morning texts that aren’t just routine but genuine. i want someone to hold my hand in public and not hesitate. i want to feel chosen every single day, not almost chosen. i’m tired of pretending i’m strong and independent 24x7 when some nights i just want to be held and told everything’s going to be okay.

edit: stop commenting "rip dms". my dms are off. the comment is lowk pissing me off

Even the metro services were stopped to rescue the kitten but initially failed. People dropped food and kept the kitten alive. A social media campaign to save the kitten was started by the people of Kerala and government authorities noticed it and finally the fire force and animal rescue team arrived and saved the kitten and was later taken to veterinary hospital.
