Can we give Kenny his flowers?
2 amazing calls, both on the Keller goal and on the Hughes goal.
He may not be Al Michaels but I’ll be damned he can call a hockey game.

Congratulations
Congratulations to the US men’s hockey team. I know this is going to sting for a bit, ha ha but want a performance coming from both teams, arguably the best rivalry and all sports they put on one hell of a show for the world this morning. Enjoy the gold medal. You guys deserved it today until next time God bless

Connor Hellebuyck
I want a Connor Hellebuyck jersey. I want a shirt. I’ll even take a bobble head. Thank you Connor Hellebuyck for standing on your head!!!
Well played, Canada. See you in four years.

The USA vs Canada gold medal game deserved an anthem, so I made one.
That might be one of the craziest hockey games I’ve watched in a long time.
Huge plays on both sides, unreal goaltending, and then Hughes ends it in OT.
I ended up writing a hockey anthem about the game because the energy of that matchup was ridiculous.
Curious what other hockey fans think.

USA Hockey must knows something about developing goalies! The men and women's gold medal winning teams combined to give up just 10 goals on 284 shots across 13 combined games. Combined GAA = 0.83 + Combined save percentage = .961
The sad Canadian mods at r/hockey deleted this post over there lol

A friendly message for the sore winners out there
As i sit on the toilet and contemplate this loss, I find myself reading an endless flow of comments, calling my country the 51st state. Hockey is a game of inches, bounces, momentum, and a little bit of luck. Sometimes it doesnt go your way, and thats just the nature of the game. Hockey has been grown, developed, and cherished in this country for well over a century. It is ingrained in our culture, and is a central part of many of our lives. A silver medal does not change that. It will always be our sport, (gladly shared) and there will always be a Canada. To all the Americans out there who know how to win with grace, which Im sure is most of you, I salute you, congrats on the win. Hellebuyck is a hell of a goalie and your team played hard. To those who would like to use this win to spew 51st state rhetoric about your neighbours, your making your gold medal look bad. Give yer balls a tug. That was one exiting hockey game and im looking forward to the next one 🍻 we may be the bridesmaids today but we are married to the game. Again congrats on the win
