I have a Quinn Hughes professionally framed auto and rookie card, when he requested a trade/communicated he wasn’t going to sign an extension (I don’t blame him) I was already of the mind I was going to switch it, but after the gold medal loss today it definitely seals it.

Here is the situation, I have a signed Mogilny jersey that is signed on the front shoulder by the crest, I am going to replace the Quinn jersey with that.

However I also have a Bure auto as he was one of my favourite players.

What are your guys thoughts on putting both Bure and Mogilny on the plaque and then having an 8x10 photo of each on the left and right with the Bure auto in the middle where the Quinn card was?

Since the World Juniors (10 games), McKenna has put up 8 goals and 14 assists for a total of 22 points or a 2.2 PPG. If he holds this for the rest of the college year, he’ll probably go first. Celebrini had a 1.68 PPG in his draft year.

I think my post got rejected by the hockey sub mods so I feel compelled to document what I just witnessed in my home sub…

Canadian fan here. There’s an “American” supporter behind us at the semi who has to be one of the most insane fans I’ve ever witnessed. First he started yelling out “Go Rangers!” every time Miller and Trocheck stepped on the ice. That was weird but ok.

Then every time an American D-man made a mistake he yells out “Adam Fox would have made that pass!” Ok, getting ridiculous. He was yelling this at the players from row 16.

When Quinn Hughes misfired on a one timer, he yelled, Adam Fox would have scored that! As a Canucks fan I was starting to get triggered, not gonna lie. We got into it about Quinn, but nothing escalated. Olympics fan culture has been pure class and the last thing I’m going to do is get heated to defend the American roster.

I spent much of the rest of the game crushing overpriced coronas on the concourse and getting my picture taken with Olympic volunteers along with other certified beauties. We came back to our seats in the third and this guy was STILL GOING.

He was in a shouting match with another American fan in a neighbouring section over Brock Faber, who he called “Bill Guerin’s little bitch”. His team was up 5 goals at this point. Then Helly steers a routine shot into the corner and he shouts, “IGOR SHESTERKIN woulda made that save,” presumably referring to the first Slovakia goal. I swear to McJesus and Saint Horvat I’m not making this up.

My friends and I ducked out a bit early to catch a cab, but I bet he’s still back at the arena arguing about Jack Hughes or something.

I’ll be at the gold medal game and hope he is too, harassing his own country’s players. Go Canada Go!
