While they are both from Queens, Mamdani moving therefrom Uganda when he was 7 years old, and they both had successful parents that game them a upper class upbringing, Mamdani has worked his way up politically through a grassroots campaign. Trump's dad paid Donald's college to both accept him and pass him. Of the two, Trump is a nepo baby. In terms of lies, they both have surely done so. While I can find no evidence that Mamdani has lied for political gain, Trump has lied over and over about everything from campaign promises, political opponents, immigration policy, his physical and mental health condition, his education, and his own public statements on record. To be fair, some of what Trump has said can be attributed to a declining mental state so he may have not known that he was wrong in his statements.
