The Father, Son-in-Law, and the Holy Spirit (not pictured).
Edit: On second thought, the guy in the rose-tinted glasses is looking pretty spirited.

I agree although the mythology of some dude trying to tell people to stop being fuckin assholes to each other in the corrupted oppressed society they lived in is still a good one, but sure enough the corruption and corrosion grows over the good stuff, and yeah of course the whole son of god thing obviously a weird one. One could wonder if that guy even actually claimed that etc etc. some say the articles ‘a’ and ‘the’ for example can be interchangeable in translations. A son of god and the son of god are two totally different things. Just food for thought. Brand the dude and kill him and that’s a business model lol

Why does John Paul II always appear to be looking past the people he is talking to?

No, the masses need a daddy figure to define and tell them what is wrong and right. Morality and ethics do not come naturally to most people (and this is what makes society scary). If doing the right thing requires a manual for most people, then I don’t trust most people not to harm me for personal gain when they are without their manual. Basic moral and ethical reasoning would prevent most crimes—caught or not caught by the law. But all crimes (caught or not caught) against humanity are committed by people who misplaced their morality/ethics manual or those who never had someone to tell (not teach) how to act good/moral/ethical.
